2 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: It looks pretty awesome, has decent features for the price that I got it ($400 at Black Friday Sale) Remote works well.

Cons: Mediocre image quality. Horrible sound, tinny, my ipod speakers are better. I went and bought a surround sound system because of it. Well, about 2 weeks after I bought it, when I turned it on, it would click twice or even three times to turn on. I called tech, and it was what I though it was. The power board was malfunctioning. It works fine now, though.

Other Thoughts: Service was great.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: Excellent picture. I'm fairly new to buying HDTV's, but I've researched a lot, and Sharp certainly seems to be a top rate brand. I bought mine from Costco instead of Newegg, I got the floor model so it was $50 less. Great, sharp picture. I have it hooked up to my computer and my 360, both by HDMI and it is dazzling! I heartily reccomend this to anyone looking for a dorm room sized HDTV.

Cons: Haven't found any yet.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat 720p set!

Pros: Once calibrated, great picture! Does a great job of scanning for cable channels on initial setup. Good sound...a bit 'hollow'. Plenty of inputs for probably 90% of the population. Great viewing angles!

Cons: Sound... It's 'average'. I'll definitely be getting a receiver/decent set of speakers.

Other Thoughts: It's a 720p set...I didn't have HUGE expectations of it. However, at 32", it looks as good as 1080p/i on larger sets. Good bang/buck!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: I've had this TV for a little over a week now and was very hesitant to buy it because of the size and no 1080P. I took a chance anyway mainly based on reviews here and I'm very glad I did!

I love this TV, but as one review pointed out you have to disable "active contrast" to keep it from fading in and out during dark scenes. That is the most annoying thing about any LCD I think.

Xbox360 is amazing with it. That's mainly why I was concerned with the size. I had a standard 27" and felt if I was going to upgrade I wanted at least 40" and since I have a 56" Sony LCD in my livingroom I was little spoiled with it I guess, but for my office this 32" is sweet!

Cons: The only con I can see so far is that the audio display pops up a lot when watching some channels. Doesn't happen with xbox360 or watching DVD's. I did read a review somewhere else that said Sharps support said that it is because the audio signal is weak or something like that. There's a fix for it if you can use composite cables instead of just coax...

Kind of annoying at first, but the TV has so much picture space it is kind of easy to ignore since it pops up in the top right corner.

Not much of a con really, but Sharp could still correct that to not happen I think...

Other Thoughts: I almost passed on buying this one, But I'm glad I went for it. Great TV for the money and the picture is as good if not better than my MUCH more expensive Sony LCD!

4 out of 5 eggsnot an aquos

Pros: excellent value

Cons: mislabeled in newegg review as an "aquos" model. i called sharp to verfiy because there are other sites with this incorrect information floating around as well. the "sb" in the model number means it is a "sharp brand" not aquos model. still tho, excellent set.

Other Thoughts: none at this time.

4 out of 5 eggsGood choice

Pros: Price, design, menu options

Cons: Slow tuner, no PIP, some TV channels have not good colors hue and saturation but maybe I need to have HDTV to see improvement.

Other Thoughts: I have no idea how to force 720p displaying instead of 480p.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome LCD

Pros: First off, Disable "Automatic Contrast" to start with. In reading a bunch of articles on the internet about Sharp TV's i found the answer to the "Flickering" screen problem that people are having with this TV. In particular it is the auto contrast setting. If that is turned off the screen with not automatically dim or brighten during dark and bright scenes. (at least disabling this is what solved it for me.)

Aside from that, this thing has all the inputs i need and the picture on 480i(DVD player) and 480p(Wii) component are awesome.

I cannot vouch for the slow channel changing with the remote as i use satellite on an S-video input with a different remote.

However, the menus are easy to navigate and there isn't much lag within the menu system at all with the remote.

Cons: Nothing yet.

Other Thoughts: As always Newegg delivered quickly, reliably, and without any damage at all...even though most of that last part depends on the courier.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat inexpensive HDTV

Pros: Even though this TV was purchased at Best Buy for $499 I'd thought I'd give it a quick review. Right now I'm only getting OTA HDTV and it's fantastic. Satellite box took some time to hook up (box and TV are in different rooms in the house). Picture is sharp and the colors look good- I didn't have to do anything. Sound is decent, but will be adding surround receiver soon. TV is light and the stand was a breeze to assemble. Picture looks good from every viewing angle in my family room, in daylight and at night.

Cons: Owners manual was a little hard to read (small print on a foldout sheet)- a book type manual would be nice. I wish the remote had backlit buttons. Stand doesn't rotate or tilt but not an issue for me. Sharp's website could be better- can't even find an online PDF manual. Tuner is slow to change channels, but with an HD sat or cable box will take care of that.

Other Thoughts: I wish manufacturers would put 2 coax inputs on TV's- here's the reason: I get over the air HD using an external antenna. In order to use the 2 tuner DVR sat box I had to run the cable from the TV2 out from the sat box to a VCR, and then use RCA cables from the VCR to the TV to get a sat signal. This wouldn't be a problem if the TV and sat box were on the same table (or even in the same room). There's really no way to combine the TV2 sat box cable and the OTA antenna cable into the single coax imput on the TV. This is only my setup headache and probably won't be a problem for those who have a sat/cable box right next to their TV.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV For the Price!

Pros: This T.V. had exceptional picture quality and aesthetic appeal. It offers all you need in a TV QAM tuner, HDMI capability, 720 picture quality (which looks the same as 1080p in my opinion at this screen size). Free shipping as well which takes off a lot of tax.

Cons: For a person with no technological background at all it may be a little confusing to set the channels up but it really is not that complicated for someone who has had a digital tv in their lifetime.

Other Thoughts: All around great T.V. Compared to those of the same screen size great bang for your buck!
