3 out of 5 eggsUse as a 2nd TV

Pros: It makes a cool noise when its turned on and turned off. I bought this for a new bathroom and it has a light when the monitor is off. That makes for a perfect night light.

Cons: DONT USE THIS AS A MONITOR!. while the bathroom was being installed i used this as my computer monitor and the max resolution is 1024 by 768 YES it claims it can go Higher but when it does it gets extreamly blurry and shaky.

Other Thoughts: Used as a TV the quality and size is great for my bathroom. However i wouldnt buy this as a primary TV, but definatly for a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom.

3 out of 5 eggsKeep Looking

Pros: Overall design and ease of use are definite pluses. I generally like Samsung products and have a 40" 1080p flat panel I love. Set up is easy. May this set is better as a TV - Full screen TV quality is very good.

Cons: As others have pointed out, light bleed at the top and bottom of the screen is quite noticable when watching letterbox movies. Upscaling DVD quality was poor. I had difficulty getting consistent flesh tones and eliminating "shinyness" to everything. HOWEVER, when used with an HD-DVD 1080i machine(bummer about Toshiba's exit from the market) color and picture quality issues were eliminated. No distortion problems with interlacing. Perhaps picture quality issues are DVD player dependent. I will keep testing.

Other Thoughts: I thought the price was too good to pass up. Recommend doing your research before making any purchase regardless of brand.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: First pro is that I got this for free with the purchase of the Samsung 4665F lcd tv. Although I wish I could use it in 1080, it is what it is and does everything the manufacturer says it does so I can't really complain. Both tv's double as a tv and computer monitor and they both do a good job at it.

Cons: It could use more a/v in and out jacks since there's only 1 of each.

3 out of 5 eggsTV is OK

Pros: Picture looks great and design is nice. The TV has a lot of options in the menu to customize the settings.

Cons: There is alot of light bleeding out of the top and bottom of the screen. I have an LCD computer monitor that has some bleeding but this TV has little bit to much.

4 out of 5 eggssamsung

Pros: the picture quality is great just as the 2 other samsung TV's i have (26" and 32"). it is very crisp and clear, and its features are user friendly.

Cons: Speakers are not that good. they seem to be one of the few Samsung weaknesses. Needs RCA outs to hook up a cheap surround stereo

2 out of 5 eggsPoor picture quality

Pros: Attractive case, nice feature set, ATSC and QAM tuners, separate OTA and Cable inputs. Picked up all my local OTA channels and cable QAM in-the-clear channels without trouble.

Cons: Terrible picture quality. Unnatural colors/flesh tones. Poor deinterlacing/scaling circuitry causes jaggies on 480i, 720p, and 1080i content. I expect 480i material to not look so great when scaled up on an HD monitor, but 720p and 1080i don't look very good on this unit either.
I've purchased many HDTV's before, both plasma and LCD, and this is by far the worst picture quality I have seen.

Other Thoughts: Was really hoping this would be a keeper, but I have to return it and try something else.
