Awsome TV
- Pros: I bought this to use as a PC monitor in addition to a TV and it's great for both. It's specifically designed for PC input over HDMI, so you can use a DVI->HDMI connection at the native res (1360x768) with no scaling as opposed to having to use the HD standard 1280x720 and have it scale/overscan like you would with other 720p TVs.
- Cons: In games with a lot of high color contrast, Half-Life 2 for example, some slight pixel transition/trailing is noticable - even when using "game mode". It's not severe by any means, but it is there if you look for it. Oddly enough this is not noticable in the desktop/productivity apps (the cursor leaves no trails for example).
- Other Thoughts: I've had experience with using 2 other LCD HDTVs as PC monitors and this is definitely the best suited to that use so far.
Beautiful
- Pros: Apsolutely Beautiful picture, almost no ghosting to notice. Being able to run at native resolution when connected to a computer. DNIe seems to work. Great tremble sound on the speakers. Major connectivity on this thing.
- Cons: only one objsections:
frist when connecting HDMI the sound doen't come out the the opitical out, ie I connected PS3 through HDMI, sound would come out the TV, but not the surround sound that was connected with the optical out on the TV.
This is not a big issue though, beause I can just get another optical cable.
- Other Thoughts: Samsung's connectivity options here are apsolutely wonderful, here is a list of everything I have connected to it, or plan to connect to it:
PS3 HDMI, Xbox360 Component, Wii Component, Second monitor on Laptop DVI/HDMI, Old desktop PC VGA. Optical out to surround, and I still have all the S-video and composite connections open.
I highly recomend this TV.
Props to Newegg for the no payments for 6 months, and free rush order, had this think in 3 days.

- Pros: I just received this item last week, and it is just amazing... I connected my pc, xbox360, and ps3. I found out that this tv can get up to 1080i with hdmi. Everything is so vivid and the picture quality is excellent even with lower quality movies.
- Cons: I haven't found any yet... just got it remember..
- Other Thoughts: This is a great buy and a great price. Someone I know bought a 24" PC lcd monitor for his laptop and paid $500 for it, and he cant use it as a tv. So when I got mine in, he went here and bought one for himself.
- Pros: Great connectivity. I had this running as a monitor for two weeks and boy did it look great once I had it calibrated (MonacoOptix). I did some photo work (scanning and color corection). Moved it out of the office and to the bedroom and mounted it for TV use.
- Cons: My mount interfered with blocking the inputs. Its the "dual" c-channel type that hangs on a plate. Something a hacksaw and grinder can easily take care of.
- Other Thoughts: Turn off the energy saver, It "throttles" the CCD's brightness. Overall the initial factory setup is bright and saturated. HTPC here I come...
- Pros: It's pretty- that's about the only good think I can say about it.
- Cons: Might be ok for gaming or PC, but if you buying it as a tv, there have to be better choices. The sound is so distorted you can't understand it. Have talked to five different customer support reps at Samsung, and absolutely no help. Finally had one rep acknowledge a know defect, and says I must return the TV to factroy for repairs.
