True HD 1080p is great but Samsung takes it to the next level with the LNT4665F. The 10bit video processor ensures smoother motion in fast moving scenes. The 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio will display finer gradients of shading making for more detail in darker scenes than ever before. The 178º viewing angle gives everyone in the room an exceptional view. Game Mode lets you take your gaming experience over the top.
Of course, the picture is only half the experience. The hidden side speakers deliver stunning SRS TruSurround XT enhanced audio without making the TV any larger than necessary. TruSurround XT is composed of three enhancement technologies, Dialog Clarity, TruBass and SRS WOW. These combine to give you a deep, rich bass sound far beyond the normal speaker capabilities while still having the dialog in sharp focus so you don't miss a thing. Then the WOW feature puts the aural experience onto a wider soundstage giving you an immersive experience.
None of these features will do you any good if you can't hook anything up. Samsung includes a plethora of inputs, 3 HDMI (1 HDMI-CEC), 2 Component, 2 A/V and 2 S-Video ports are just for starters. You also get 2 R/F connections for cable and antenna. There is also a D-Sub connector for your PC and a USB port.

Very impressive
- Pros: Superb color definition (after adjustments), great onboard sound, good remote, lots of inputs. Headphone jack.
- Cons: Screen glare can be distracting.
- Other Thoughts: Make no mistake -- this TV is as good as it gets. The clear glass front panel really sharpens the image, though the reflections can be distracting, as on a plasma TV (although this is actually an LCD). Lots of inputs, easy-to-use remote, and the on-screen menus are very intuitive. Also, this is one of the few TVs that has a headphone jack, which is a real plus for watching TV while not disturbing others. The two side speakers and simulated surround sound deliver the best sound I have heard from onboard TV speakers.
Here are some tips based on my experience with this set. First, the default settings are pretty horrendous, so plan on spending some time with the manual, making adjustments. Better yet, do what I did and get an HDTV calibration DVD. Either method can be somewhat time-consuming, but the result is nothing short of awesome. Good product
- Pros: Fantastic picture, Excellent price, the shipping cost was reasonable. Setup and installation was a breeze. Connectors are sufficiently numerous and well located to handle most needs. The built-in speakers are quite sufficient for my needs.
The LCD itself appears flawless; after two months I haven't noticed any dead/stuck pixels.

- Other Thoughts: Shipment of such an expensive electronic item made me nervous, but it was without incident. The shipper, AIT, was very helpful when I called to get status on the shipment. Delivery from the shipper was a bit inconvenient to set up, since I had to contact the local delivery agent and work with their schedule; not a major issue though... (if I'd needed the TV right away, I would have paid the extra $400 it would have cost to buy the TV at a local big box store.) Shipment to the local delivery agent was faster than I had expected. The local delivery agent was very professional, which made up for the somewhat inconvenient delivery schedule.

Excellent LCD
- Pros: I love this LCD TV. It is everything that everyone here says and every other site that reviewed this TV. The picture is amazing, the sound is great and it has plenty of inputs. I have yet to find a dead pixel. ATI delivered the TV early and without any problems. You can't go wrong with this TV. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

- Other Thoughts: It would be nice if LCD TV's had a built in Dolby Digital decoder. I'd like to be able to connect all of my surround sound A/V equipment to my TV and use the TV optical out to my receiver. I don't think any TV has that feature.
HDMI issues
- Pros: Great picture quality, good sound for integrated speakers.

- Other Thoughts: OK, i researched this tv for my parents and hooked everything up for them as a christmas present. Now, granted I've only tried cable set top boxes, but this is an issue no one else seems to be bringing up here. This tv worked great with a motorola HD set top box for about two months. Then, on Super Bowl Sunday, of all days, I get a phone call from my parents saying the tv isn't working. It's showing "not supported input" and won't show anything. I talked them through hooking up component (which works fine) and they were able to see the game, but what a pain...I picked this one because of stellar reviews. It has 3 hdmi ports that are essentially useless and only two component ports. I hear Samsung will replace the mainboard and give it a firmware update to fix the problem, but they've known about these issues since before my tv was manufactured, so what the hell is going on, there?
Nice Choice
- Pros: I researched LCD TV's for quite some time. Looked no further as this tv won me over. This is my first 1080p HDTV and I am totally impressed with the quality of picture. No other "brick or mortar" store could beat the price. Love the design and looks great with the swivel stand.
- Cons: PS3 sold separately.
- Other Thoughts: Glossy screen makes it easy to clean especially if you have kids who like to touch the screen. Pull this puppy right out of the box and get ready for him to fetch. AIT delivered TV safe and sound.
