Pros: This plasma television is outstanding. The picture is so real at times your forget your watching TV. This Samsung Plasma TV was made for Blue-Ray DVD movies you have to see it to believe it.

Pros: I recently purchased this TV. Picture is excellent. Color is excellent. Contrast is excellent. I have this TV in my sunroom which has lots of light and the picture is plenty bright during daylight hours. Olympics were fantastic on this set. I can't wait for college football to get underway.

Pros: This TV is awesome. I have had 3 1080P televisions in the past 5 years and by far there is no comparison. I have had DLP 1080P which is nice and still have a 1080P LCD which is very nice but you will notice colors that were not there before on a plasma, they have a 30 year life expectancy, the blacks and whites are so true its amazing.

Cons: they are hot, they can heat a room up no doubt but even a good LCD can be warm, not this warm but warm.

Other Thoughts: You can pay twice this for the new LED LCD but in my comparison there is no picture quality difference so price to performance wise this wins hands down, no moving parts (fans) so it makes no noise screen burn in protection is amazing when you leave a game on pause you can scroll the screen and clear it up no matter what. Night and day from DLP to plasma. trueist colors there are, dont get me wrong LCD is nice but you cant beat this. also they will say 600hz but it is actually 5 120 hz plates as apposed to 1 120hz plate on an LCD. so do the math and you 600 hz. you wont be disappointed

Excellent price/performance

Pros: Excellent color reproduction, very little IR, well constructed bezel, plenty of inputs, acceptable black levels, very little lag in first person shooters, great for gaming or movies. Passive cooling is preferential for pet owners.

Cons: Could use more programming functionality and shortcuts (going to the scroll feature is much more painful than it should be). Remote is a mixed bag, the wheel has slow input responses and is digital rather than analog as it should be. You will notice more IR if you don't take care of it. Produces a fair amount of heat, though not as much as I expected (my onkyo 706 receiver is MUCH hotter by comparison).

I do notice small amounts of lag when playing my Wii when upscaling. This may be due to my configuration, however.

Other Thoughts: It looks about as "classy" as a 58" can look in my small apartment.

Shipping was slow, took 7 business days (plus 2 weekends) to deliver.

Pros: Great picture. Lots of I/O. Looks clean in the living room.

Cons: Have intermittent buzzing from power supply in the rear. Still trying to resolve this issue. Do not believe it is a grounding issue. (Louder than it should be)
