Cons: I purchased this set from NEWEGG.com on 4/12/2010. On 4/25 this set started to randomly go to a static screen and then power off and on intermittently. I didn't put much thought into it as it wasn't happing all the time. Around the 1st of may I purchased a Blu-ray player and hooked it up to the tv via HDMI. The TV would instantly FREEZE, go to a static screen then power off then on again. After a bit of trouble shooting I discovered that it would only do this using HDMI or RGB at a resolution of 720p or higher so any HD programming. The only way to watch this TV is 480i or 480p without it malfunctioning. When I finely figured out that it was my TV that was bad "i thought it was my Cable box at 1st. I was outside of the return policy of newegg by a few days. I was stuck using Samsung customer support. on 6/20 I sent the tv via UPS back to Samsung for repair. (no in home service calls on tv's less than 37") I just received my TV back from service TODAY 7/14/2010. Other Thoughts: the TV came back from warranty and did the exact same thing, they didn't fix the issue. The Service repair statement states that they replaced part # BN44-00339B this is a power supply. IT DIDN'T HELP! I called support and they put in a claim for me for a possible exchange. I JUST WANT A TV THAT WORKS!!!!!!!! Stay away from this TV unless you want a super headache!!! 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? Thanks for the valuable feedback you provided!

Even with my old computer an 780i mobo with e8400 and 4 gb corsair ddr2 and just 1 gt8800 this was still running strong on the full 32" display in max resolution. Wow I can't wait to see what it looks like with my new setup, i7-930, asus P6X58D, 8gb OCZ reaper ddr3 1333, 2 geforce 9800 gt in sli, 40gb intel solid state HD, 150 gb raptor, with my new CM 932 case. Cons: No way I got this for 499 from their email special deal thing. AWESOME PRICE! Other Thoughts: For 629.00 I am not so sure. But probably still a good buy just I know you can find it cheaper elsewhere online but Newegg rocks at shipping and servcie! 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
