Pros: I was almost the perfect TV to get for a bedroom

Cons: I looked up this TV all over the Web and found that is it a 60Hz not a 120Hz it should really be changed I almost bought it with out noticing that it was only a 60Hz it was a real let down to find that out

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Monitor

Pros: Read alot about this TV acting as monitor and requires tweaking. I tried the DVI to HDMI which makes the text look ragged and after much research it just wasn't gonna happen. VGA cable was the way go. The picture was actually far better than the HDMI quality for some reason. Might be because HDMI is really meant for console and entertainment devices that can send a stronger signal.

After hooking up via VGA everything was great. There is no need to color correct like with the HDMI . The VGA connection sends all the proper color matches and dimensions . For being 15 lbs mounted consuming only 77w it beats anything i've had so far. It's super thin , doesn't draw power or heat and color picture is awesome.

Has all the inputs you'll ever need , including Ethernet USB for Hard drive, 2 types of audio in and outs. very slim sleak design

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsNot 120Hz! 120 CMR! :-(

Pros: Good colors. Vibrant. Looks great.

Cons: False advertising. Not 120Hz like Newegg's title says. It's Samsung's 120 CMR (Clear motion rate). It's all about marketing. I tried for a few days to get it to run at 120Hz instead of 60Hz and it is not possible. At least Best Buy got it right and labeled it 60Hz. I want to return this and get a Bravia. Not sure if I can. Such a hassle to box it up and ship it out again.

Other Thoughts: I should have gotten a Sony Bravia which has a true 120Hz panel.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well as a 32" PC monitor.

Pros: Beautiful design, nice and thin. Brilliant whites and nice deep blacks on default settings. I like the glossy screen in my setting. Games, HD content, and still images on photo slideshows look excellent. I play a lot of arcade emulation and the contrast really helps the colors leap.

Cons: Running from a Radeon 4850 the initial DVI to HDMI connection produced 'ragged' text and graphics with default settings. Changed to 'best fit' and 'movie' mode and turned sharpness down to 10 to get acceptable image vs. a DVI to VGA connection. Doesn't seem to want to sleep in DVI to HDMI mode like it does in DVI to VGA oddly. On my particular model, there is a very slight light blooming in one corner in a fully darkened room, and only seen if looked for when that area is black like a pillarboxed 4:3 or 3:4 arcade game. None of these are worth an egg deduction imho.

4 out of 5 eggsWill not disappoint, exc. Price

Pros: Adjustments with screen settings, improved remote over the plasma's I attained last year, 470.00 for an open box buy.

Cons: Packaging, the worst I have ever seen for any monitor or TV including some other Samsung items, amazing it was intact and unscathed. the MSRP price is redonk.

Other Thoughts: worthy of 470.00 and not a cent more!
