5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: Its a SAMSUNG (excellent picture quality), lots of ports, beautiful TV, thin, lots of settings to customize the TV to your liking

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You can't go wrong with this TV. You are getting more for your money. I use it to play video games (PS3). This is the best TV I have ever bought. Will definitely be sticking with SAMSUNG TVs from now on.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a great TV

Pros: Audio-out jack, Big for the room it's in, Sufficient ports for inputs. Gets the job done. Good standalone sound.

Cons: Text rendering is very poor. It made me think that I needed glasses. Pixelation is poor on images. Movement on-screen is blurry.

Other Thoughts: Would probably RMA if I could. I think that I could live with it, though, but I'm very disappointed in the picture quality. I would discourage putting it where you're close up. For the money, not worth it. I may have been more comfortable spending less on it.

3 out of 5 eggsTruth&Honesty

Pros: The TV is bright and has a beautiful construction. The stand is very nice and it is very intuitive.

Cons: The reason I give this 3 eggs is because of it's receptivity and actual display for various inputs. For cable/hdmi HD channels, this TV isn't as good as I would hope. The TV does not connect too well together when displaying moving images nor is it consistently clear. Every second you can notice some discrepancies in its filtering and normally this is ok, but for someone like me, I want a certain level of quality and consistency.

For desktops/laptops via HDMI, it is also a bit off. When displaying games and 1080 videos, you can see the color and pixelation to be off tremendously.

Other Thoughts: This TV should really be $499 and should only be ordered for those that are not seeking a level of quality above average in its display.

Also, do get this TV if you are just getting a TV to fill a room. I gave this TV to my grandmother who enjoys it, but I got a Sony LED 40in which renders everything really well. Hope this helps.

5 out of 5 eggsSAMSUNG QUALITY!!

Pros: well if you want QUALITY you have came to the right BRAND!!!! when a few weeks ago my $450 32 inch visio died at 2 1/2 years old(pi$$ed me off).

SAMSUNG IS THE UTMOST QUALITY PICTURE AND FEATURES.. IDK ABOUT SOUND..

THIS SAMSUNG BLOWS MY OLD TV OUT OF THE WATER... THEN SHOOTS IT INTO OUTERSPACE!!!(WHERE HOPEFULLY IT ENDS UP SMASHING INTO A METEOR)

I USE THIS SAMSUNG TV FOR MY COMPUTER GAMING MONITOR!! AND I LOVE IT!!!! I HAVE NEVER USED THE INTERNAL SPEAKERS SO I CANNOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE SOUND... BUT THE SHAPNESS AND CLARITY OF THE PICTURE IS PHENOMENAL
WENT FROM 15000:1 CONTRAST RATIO TO THIS 200,000:1... THIS SUCKER IS BRIGHT!!! RICH COLORS IT COULD LEAVE SOME SPEECHLESS!!!

PAYED $692 WITH A 4 YEAR WARRANTY!!! FROM WALLY WORLD!!!

Cons: KEEP AWAY FROM VIZIO!!! I HAVE THREE DEAD VIZIO'S IN MY BASEMENT AND ILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE!!!
VIZIO 32 720P LCD DEAD!!! EITHER MAINBOARD OR INVERTER DIED!!
VIZIO 37 1080P LCD DEAD, FIXED THEN DEAD AGAIN!!! SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE LCD IT KEEPS KILLING THE MAIN BOARD!!
VIZIO 42 1080P LCD DEAD!!! MAIN BOARD DIED!!! BUT IM GOING TO FIX... 700 DOLLARS IS TO MUCH MONEY TO WASTE.... MIGHT AS WELL WASTE THE $120 FOR THE PART FOR A TV THAT WILL PROB. LAST 2 OR 3 MORE YEARS

Other Thoughts: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

I COULD HAVE GOT A 55 SAMSUNG LED TV WITH ALL THE WASTED VIZIO'S

IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT GET AN EXTRA WARRANTY.. I DID AND IF THIS TV DIES WITH IN FOUR YEARS... IT WILL BE FIXED OR REPLACED FOR FREE... BECAUSE IM SICK OF BUYING T.V.'S LOL

5 out of 5 eggsGood TV

Pros: Once you know what you're doing, the TV is easy to set up. A friend of mine got one a year ago, and I set it up. When I bought mine, I knew exactly what to do. Make sure you connect with an HDMI cable to get maximum effect. The TV has an excellent picture...about the best for the size and price. I really like the SRS TruDialog setting because I'm very hard of hearing, and this has the best sound for me.

Cons: Make sure you choose the 'Source' first thing, before anything else. I kept choosing 'TV', and it didn't work. I had to choose 'HDMI'. This wasn't really self-explanatory or intuitive for me. Once the 'Source' is chosen, everything else is simple.

Other Thoughts: The sound on this TV is better than what I got with my other TV hooked to my stereo. I can hear people talking much better and much more clearly.

My friend's TV is over a year old with no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsAfter Further Review; Remote is in fact, Sturdy.

Pros: The picture quality is amazing, that goes without saying. Samsung is a consistent and respectable brand. This tv has all the connections you would need and is a solid buy that I intend to use for many years. The bezel is sleek and the touch sensitive buttons are not a hassle at all, rather they add to the overall modern experience. Menu system works great, its clean and simple plus it offers many choices not found in common menus like adjusting the color to grayscale or a single color (Not very useful, but I like to know I can do it). The speakers, 10W+10W, about average for a tv, downward projection. The back panel is very well organized, you dont have to break your hand just to screw the TV Antenna in. It also has a small attempt at cable management in way of an adjustable strap right above the stand. The stand is solid, slight vertical adjustment and maybe 20 degrees horizontal. Quick startup, Samsung logo(can be turned off in menu).

Cons: So far I havent come across anything where I was like "Wow thats stupid" Everything works as I would expect it to and there are even subtleties like the way the tv displays the mute icon that let you know a lot of thought was put into this product.

Other Thoughts: My personal setup has my MacBook Pro hooked up to my 27" Samsung ToC monitor on my desk. And the tv sits about a foot behind me on top of my Fridge/Freezer/Microwave combo. Its a college dorm and this tv is definitely a the perfect display for my space. Samsung provides me with the level of quality I demand and is only competition to Sony. In the end, this tv had more connections and a nicer menu system. I plan to keep this tv all throughout college and into my first apartment as my main home theater system. The usb supports DivX and from experience has played all the .avi containers I threw at it. It will also recognize an iPod (for pictures only as any video on an iPod will most likely be MP4 or MOV).

Oh and on a side note, the remote is sturdy as hell.

5 out of 5 eggsSuberb Picture

Pros: Terrific picture. Really pops colors out at you. The sound and sound options on this set are nice. Several modes to put it into including voice amplification and overall amplification. Very easy to hookup and get going. Seamless connection to the web and to Directv.

Cons: Remote could be sturdier, when you come up with that as a con, then you may assume I am searching hard for a flaw.

Other Thoughts: Great price for this set. I obtained it on sale for 120 less so it was even better. Great quality as usual with Samsung products.
