5 out of 5 eggsAwesome - Use these settings

Pros: -Good size
-Awesome picture
-Awesome color

Cons: -Only 2 HDMI ports
-Can't get rid of all the picture filtering unless you turn game mode on (firmware issue?)

Other Thoughts: Best Settings:

Game Mode : ON!
Cell at max
Contrast at 85
Brightness 42
Color 46
Sharpness 0
tint 50/50 (untouched)
colorspace AUTO (important!) and all fancy options turned off
Warm 2 (dont remember if you can set this in game mode)
Gamma 0 for around 2.2-2.3 gamma. You might want to use -1 for dark room and possibly +1 for a really bright room.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: 1) Large
2) Cheap
3) Excellent Picture

Cons: 1) Poor sound quality

Other Thoughts: I'm using this with an HTCP setup, so I only needed 1 HDMI port, and because i'm using the speakers from the HTCP for sound, I don't use the TV's speakers, which is why I gave it 5 stars. For $470, your not going to find a better value.

2 out of 5 eggsAIT Sucks, home 2nd one isn't as broken

Pros: big, reviews look good. other than that, i am not sure cause mine is broken

Cons: screw threading on the mount on the back of the tv is cheap.
AIT lost my shipment, after 5 attempts to figure out where it is, they found out that it was put in the wrong shipping lane. Didn't call me 30 min before they showed like they were supposed to. Glass is thoroughly damaged, cracks all the way across the screen and in different directions. unbelievable.

Other Thoughts: Might be a good TV, don't know yet, I get to wait another week or two, or three to find out.

4 out of 5 eggsGood bang for your buck

Pros: Cost per inch, color depth, image quality in 720p w/ 600hz, 35lbs (less than my 20" tube TV from college), and built-in image shift to reduce burn in. Also has audio in from a 3.5mm audio jack for use with a PC.

Cons: 2 HDMI ports (HDTV + Blu Ray + game console! You'll need to swap cables.). The TV has no vga/dvi input - you'll need a special DVI-to-HDMI cable if you want to connect a PC (luckily my pc has HDMI output on board, but revert to comment #1). I found that the image on the ye-old co-axial cable was less impressive than on a 50" plasma at my parents home, but the issue may be provider/feed/cable quality. TV lacks RCA or 3.5mm stereo audio out jack, so you cannot use a basic 2 speaker/1 sub setup, it does have digital optical out, but this requires a stereo which supports digital optical.

Other Thoughts: You're about two eggs sort of a dozen with this TV as you may need to go through a few hoops to get things setup and wired, but when I visited a few stores in person, the Samsung was consistently in my top picks for image quality/color, but for sub-$600 TV can't complain!

5 out of 5 eggsplasma 450

Pros: Great pic, refresh, blacks, and size. Great price. Images pop

Cons: Glare, not an issue if straight on, but sides angles could have glare. I have a light set up for myself and when guests are over.
