Clear Motion Rate 120 Clear Motion Rate (CMR) is Samsung's more comprehensive and accurate measure for how well an LCD or LED TV can display fast-moving images. Previously, motion clarity was expressed simply by the refresh rate, measured in Hz. CMR, however, takes into account all three factors that contribute to motion clarity: panel refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology. CMR is measured by determining the thinnest line a TV can display in a moving image. The thinner the line, the higher the CMR rating, and the clearer the picture you'll enjoy on the screen.

Pros: Visual quality is very crisp, despite the 60 Hz rate, minimal, if any ghosting with my PS3 in it's "game mode" The Game Mode is also a nice touch, makes the visual, as well as audio quality better, even with only have 2 built in speakers. If you have a small surround system, it makes a huge difference in terms of audio quality. Cons: The built in speakers could use some improvement, however with the cost of lower end surround systems and most home entertainment enthusiasts, alot of people probably won't notice. The different default sound modes also can be good if configured for use. For those that know how to set the frequencies, a few tweaks can even make the built in speakers sound quite nice. This TV doesn't have much for inputs, but with it being only a 22", it has enough unless you plan to purchase this as a secondary monitor for you desktop machine or laptop using the HDMI input. The stand provided with this TV is not adjustable, so keep that in mind if you plan on making a purchase. Other Thoughts: This TV is pretty good for bedroom TV. The speakers leave a bit to be desired, but with some tweaks, they are good for basic use. I, as well as my parents have owned numerous Samsung products over the years and they have provided us with long product lives and I am hoping this will as well. Sleep mode requires you to get into the menu to activate instead of a dedicated button on the remote. Other Thoughts: Bought this for my Mom for her bedroom. Se wanted her old 12" CRT back after the sound bothered her. There's an equalizer but the speakers response is so poor that it doesn't correct anything. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Other Thoughts: i have a 3-4 year old samsung 23" 2333sw, and it is no better that it. i bought it hoping to reduce studder and ghosting, very dissapointed. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
