AIT Delivery Stinks
- Pros: The TV itself is great.
- Cons: "AIT In Home Delivery" was a nightmare for me. First, they would only deliver during the day, and since I work I had to pick it up after hours. The first set I received was damaged. Newegg told me that UPS would call and arrange to pick it up, and that a new one would be shipped to me. However, when I went to pick up the new set from AIT (or rather, their local distributor), I was informed that I couldn't have the new one unless I brought in the old one.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg has always had great customer service in my experience, but it seems for large items they use AIT, who in turn hands it off to a local shipping company. These three entities don't seem to communicate with each other. Maybe I just had a bad experience this time, but in the future I think I will pay the extra hundred bucks and buy larger items like this from a local brick and mortar store.
- Pros: Lots of inputs. Standard number of HDMI inputs is 2. This has 4. All capable of 1080p. Matte finish screen for easy viewing in most light. No annoying reflections. Great sound for 2x10watt speakers.
- Cons: Dynamic contrast is buggy. I recomend turnning it off. The Active light control is a little weird. When the image goes dark, it counters it making it brighter, which distorts the reason for the image doing dark.
- Other Thoughts: Great TV/Monitor for an Xbox 360 or HD Cable service. Even 480p looks great on it.

Works great.
- Pros: This TV has excellent picture quality, even on NTSC analog. The USB connector lets you do slideshows with your pictures or play your MP3 music.
- Cons: No VGA input.
Above average LCD
- Pros: The TV's overall picture quality is good. It is very hard to tell the difference in quality from a Samsung unless they are next to each other. It has 4 hdmi inputs. For the price this TV is excellent, but it lacks features that higher priced TV's have.
- Cons: I have two big complaints although I won't complain for the price. First, the TV lacks any kind of detail picture adjustment. It only had tint and pictures. I would like it if you could adjust it like a computer monitor. Second, No DVI inputs but no big deal. You need a DVI to HDMI adapter to connect your computer to the TV. $5.99 here on Newegg.
- Other Thoughts: I bought my TV at Target for $750. My friend has the Samsung is in the same catagory as mine. Yes, his is better. But he paid $1400 for a 46"and I paid $750 for a 42". For the price, I would take my TV.
Better than average.
- Pros: I was able to compare the TV side-by-side with other brands at a store. Better brightness than Vizio, better picture quality than Sanyo, but not quite as good as Samsung and Sony, but much lower cost than those brands. Plenty of connection options,
- Cons: 1 dead blue pixel. I didn't see it until I got to a "No Signal" screen. I do not see it when I am further than 4 feet away though.
The connectors on the back should be 90 degrees to the wall. If I decide to wall mount it, it will become an issue.
