yay, i just paid this off. lol
- Pros: picture is very clear(very bright as well), no 'ghosting', no blur whatsoever, and hdmi is awesome. also: no dead pixels!
- Cons: the remote--or at least the receiver for the remote--isn't the best, but it's no big deal(i don't really use the remote often anyhow), you just have to reposition [the remote] to get better reception.
- Other Thoughts: i've no frame of reference to compare this television to since this is the first lcd/hd television i've owned, but my experience with it so far has been nothing less than exceptional. i have it hooked up to my computer through dvi-to-hdmi, and everything i've watched--dvds, video files(avi, mpg, etc), and games--have looked amazing. i'm glad i finally committed to buying a high-definition lcd tv. i should probably include that viewsonic is a wonderful brand and that everything i've purchased from them, so far, has performed well, beyond expectation.

I have been a viewsonic buyer for many yrs..matter of fact i have a viewsonic va1912wb lcd for my pc that im on now..the reason im writting this is because a dear friend of mine from Donna TX baught this same tv..and has had nothing but problems ever since..so i thought i would help him out buy calling viewsonic just to see if i caould help since he was getting the run arround from them. the first guy i talked to justin said they had recieved it oct 14th and it is now the dec 6 and it was sitting ther for a tech to look at it..so he let me talk to his supervisor .. i told him the reason for my call that i was trying to help my friend out since his is disabled and he had been gettin the run arround and that he had the tv for only 2 months and it broke and had to pay another 70 bucks to ship it back to them..and that my friend has a very limited amount of income do to social security...so i told the guy for 200 more bucks he could have had a sony
- Other Thoughts: and he said he did not care that he would just have to wait till they got to it...wow what do they need another month or 2 months before they look at it..bottom line is this ... i will never never never buy a viewsonic product..after i seen and heard what my friend went thru.. there tech support is very bad..and i told my friend he should report them to the Better Business Bureau... think before you buy..would you like the same head ache.. - Pros: This has a good picture. Mine is hooked up to fios tv with a hd box through verizon and the tv actually goes up to 1080.
- Cons: The sound went out already.. warranty is out and it will basically cost a new tv to fix it.. i will just buy some thing else next time..
- Other Thoughts: Originally i just wanted a 32 inch lcd monitor for my pc.. which i can still use this as.. its great to game on. I would actually recommend using this for your computer and not your main tv for your house. Viewsonic is best known for making computer monitors and is still new at making home televisions.

- Pros: nice display when working.
- Cons: broke within 2 hours of unboxing and plugging in. started getting a staticky screen then sound when out and then turned itself off and will not turn back on. tried moving to different outlet thought maybe ac static but no use.
- Other Thoughts: viewsonic is sending a new one and counting this one as dead on arrival.
