4 out of 5 eggsPleasantly surprised, having fun with 3D

Pros: I didn't expect much for its low price, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the picture quality is quite good. I wanted to try out 3D on a small set and this is the smallest and cheapest set I could find with 3D. I'm having fun with it.

Cons: The screen is very glossy/reflective even though I'm using it in a fairly dark room. I didn't expect it to be but it is not very good for PC monitor use (resolution is too low for its size and text is not very sharp). Wish it had direct source input selection on the remote instead of having to select from menu.

4 out of 5 eggsRMA'ed, but was satisfied with product.

Pros: Nice colors, very good resolution. Using it as a television to connect my PS3/360 and I love the 3D aspect of my gaming rig. I ordered this when it was $249 on Newegg, and was worth every penny and then some. The sleek black style is fantastic, and works well with my TV stand. takes 5 minutes to set the TV and watching my Netflix shows from my 360 instantly.

Cons: Some issues:

HDMI connectors are in a inconvenient spot, but I can live with it. Reason I knocked off an egg is because I had to send my first shipment back to Newegg because it seems that I received a refurbished version, which was missing everything but the TV and the stand. The RMA process is long and tedious, but luckily The TV was on sale for $249 during my waiting period so I bought that one and asked for a refund instead of replacement.

Other Thoughts: Definitely buy this television if you need a 32' 3D/LED TV, and 1080p to boot for a low price. If you are using it as a monitor, make sure you turn down the brightness. The TV tends to be too bright at times. Either than that, the quality is superb and for only $299 vs other TV products, (or catch it when it goes to $249) this should be a no-brainer for those who are looking for a 32' TV.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Ordered this as a pc monitor replacement. Did not expect the 3D to be as good as it is. No one has mentioned that this tv is Nvidia 3DTV PLAY compatible, which turns all my pc games into 3D. Skyrim, Oblivion and Battlefield 3 look awesome in 3D.

Cons: The Nvidia 3DTV Play software costs an extra 40 bucks.

Other Thoughts: You have to do some tinkering with the convergence strength with the 3DTV PLAY software to really bring out the 3D effects. Hint: learn the hotkeys for this software. This is going to bring alot of my old games back to life.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!!!!

Pros: Found this on sale and purchased as a replacement computer monitor. I didn't really expect much from the 3D feature but.... this thing has knocked my socks off. No one else has mentioned that this Tv is Nvidia 3D TVPLAY compatible. This software enables you to convert your Pc games into 3D. Skyrim, Oblivion, and Battfield 3 all look amazing in 3D…totally changes the immersion and I'm still testing out other games. I have a feeling this is going to breath new life I into my old games.

Cons: 3D TVPLAY software costs an extra 40 bucks. Not Sceptre's fault though. No eggs deducted. I have noticed that shadows in games seem to cause issues in 3D. After doing some research I have learner that this common with any 3D device, so still no eggs deducted.

Other Thoughts: There's a 14 day trial of Nvidia 3D TVPLAY software. You have learn to use the hotkeys to increase the convergence every time you start a new game. Took some tinkering to figure that out but when I did boy did it bring the 3D effects alive! Also had to use what they call a Helix fix in Skyrim to get rid of some shader problems with 3D.

5 out of 5 eggsUPDATE: 3D

Pros: Just wanted to note an update.

Due to that I am using this TV mainly as my PC monitor, I usually sit pretty close to the TV. I recently noticed that when the TV is in 3D mode, it is best viewed from a few feet away. That's why I noticed 3D gaming on my consoles seemed to be better than my PC experience, simply because I was sitting further away.

So far I've only played Metro 2033 (PC), Tomb Raider (PC), and Killzone 3 (PS3) but they all look AMAZING!!!

Hope this helps.

Cons: It's too bright for a PC monitor since I sit close to it when using it as a PC. I usually have to turn down the brightness when surfing the web or doing anything from the desktop. Fortunately, I can set the custom settings to a low brightness and easily switch to the "Vivid" preset when I want to game.

Other Thoughts: I'm just loving this TV more and more.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat price

Pros: Good resolution for price; 1080p.
Excellent lighting.
Easy to set up.
Plenty of inputs and outputs.

Cons: Glossy screen leaves reflections on screen. Hurts the eyes,
better to watch in the dark.
3d doesn't interface well with PC games. Works with NVIDIA 3d test, but fails to work inside games thus far. I have exhausted the settings I can tweak in game, and on the TV to try and get it working.
Seems to randomly reset aspect ratio and source input. Occasionally have to set them.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I have to say I am pleased with my purchase. I got it at $260 after shipping and tax, this TV screams value for the price. I have it output HDMI from my NVIDIA gtx 650 ti+, and they work real well together. I had to turn sharpness all the way to zero to get the best result; I set my setting for the TV and video card manually from this website:

http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/

Hope this helps!!

4 out of 5 eggsUpdated Review- Great deal!

Pros: Great Picture, Great Price, 3D! You can use the cheap 3D glasses from the theater!

Cons: I had to return the first one that I received because it was defective. It seems that the polarization was not applied correctly, so one eye did not work and you just could not watch it without getting a headache.

I took off an egg because of having to return the first one, and for the terrible sound quality that everyone else is experiencing.

Other Thoughts: The replacement TV was everything that I was expecting. The 3D performs excellently with PS3, Xbox360, and 3D Blu-Ray. I did not notice any ghosting while using it. Even with the hassle of returning the original, I am very happy with my purchase!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent for the money

Pros: When I saw a 32" 3D 1080p TV on sale for $250 I jumped on it.
I like the color and the amount of HDMI inputs (3) which are really the only ones I use.
It is good for the money although there are a few drawbacks.
If I could go back though I would still buy it.

Cons: The sound goes in and out and the video settings reset every time it is turned off or flipped to another input, each of which I took an egg off for.
