5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Cheap. I grabbed this TV when it was on sale for $299+free shipping so it was a steal.

Great vibrant picture. Decent audio. My 360 looks fantastic on it. Good size TV for a small room. No dead pixels. Simple remote and menu.

Cons: All minor things..

Overall build quality feels a little cheap, but it doesn't matter that much to me. I did notice a dark spot near the middle of the screen that couldn't be washed off so I assume it's in the screen, but you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it.

The remote has a cheap IR receiver so if it's not pointed directly at the TV, it won't respond. Annoying when you're too lazy to re-maneuver position and you're bloated with deep fried fast food.

Back hookups were a little weird. VGA and HDMI hookups are on one side and everything else is on the other. I could see some people having trouble stretching their audio and video cables to fit.

Other Thoughts: Great TV if you can get it cheap. A simple, good looking set.

5 out of 5 eggslove everything about it

Pros: Light-weight, good-quality picture, stylish.

Cons: Recertified....not really a con since I knew this. no 1080p

Other Thoughts: The first thing I noticed about the television is that it is extremely light-weight for a 32" LCD. My brother has a toshiba regza, and it weighs a ton compared to this tv. Right out the box I set it up as a computer monitor via HDMI. It works beautifully. Thanks newegg, never let me down!

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the Price

Pros: Picture is clear, and easy to see even at 12 to 15 feet. HD pictures from antenna look awesome. If the TV lasts, then it's clearly an incredible deal.

Cons: Menu not as flexible as the Sony I have.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good for the price

Pros: Good bright picture, no missing pixels, good connections on the back and sides, good power consumption (although I need to verify the usage with a watt-meter)

Cons: Almost not fair to call these cons, but...
- Included base seems a little light-weight? But no problems with it so far
- Doesn't work with our universal remote. But then, the remote is five years older than the TV.

Other Thoughts: Still driving this TV through coax, so haven't gotten to see how it handles an HD signal. The picture looks far better than the TV it replaces, though. No problems with this recertified unit. My wife really likes it, although that means she watches even more Top Chef (shudder).

5 out of 5 eggsGood TV for the price

Pros: Good quality for the price you pay. Easy to use, enough features for a basic TV.

Cons: What is so hard to add an alarm clock?

Other Thoughts: I paid only 250 for an open box, was a bit worried about the quality and the possible missing accessories. It came with everything except screws for the TV stand but that was easy to replace, the TV has a small crack on one corner, considering I paid $100 less than the market price that was no big deal too. The screen is perfect, I was expecting a dead pixel or two but can't find any. Very nice color after a little tweaking, working great with Nintendoo Wii, don't see any slow responses for games that some old LCDs do. Slick design for the price and light weight. HDTV worked well too.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Great

Pros: Got a working unit this time, including screws for the base.

Cons: The screen looks like someone tried to clean it, and is smeared very badly. When the screen is off it looks terrible, when it's on it's not very noticeable. Wife isn't home yet, but I imagine I will get an earful about buying a tv that looks like this out of the box. I tried using lcd cleaner, and I'm not sure it looks any better then it did before I tried. It must have been really dusty and someone just made it worse by trying to use the liquid cleaner on it.

Other Thoughts: With several options for 32" news lcds in the $350 range I would highly recommend staying away from this unit. Very disappointed with my purchase decision.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Tv for the Price

Pros: It's cheap
Lots of inputs

Cons: Picture quality on standard def
Inputs are awkwardly located

Other Thoughts: For the money, I couldn't find a better deal. The first TV I got was a bum, but this one works perfect. The inputs are kind of awkward to get to, but everything works as advertised.
