Great TV
- Pros: Great TV. Cheap. Got it installed in just a few minutes and the picture looked great out of the box. Usually I have to do a lot of tweaking to get anything to look good on an LCD. Also, the specs say 720p, but it actually supports 1080i and 1080p, as well. Pleasantly surprised by that.
- Cons: None that I can see, but I'm not a videophile. I just want a decent looking TV. One dead pixel, but it's in the deep bottom left hand corner where you can't notice it unless you're really looking.
- Other Thoughts: Would definitely buy another one of these if I needed it.
Not even close to 100% satisfied
- Pros: Low cost.
- Cons: After reading the reviews of this set I decided to purchase for my mom. As soon as we received the unit I hooked it up and the picture quality was horrible. Tried every setting and input available but it was just terrible. I own 2 Olivia's (non name brand cheapo's) and the picture quality is fine, so I am not nit picking here. The tube TV we replaced was far superior. Maybe we just got a lemon. Who knows?
- Other Thoughts: Have to contact Newegg to see if we can get another if by chance it was just this one particular unit
This is a Great TV
- Pros: This COBY television has a very sharp and colorful picture. I went from a standard CRT television to this TV, and this being my first LCD television. From the moment I hooked up my Xbox 360 to it, my jaw dropped. The picture is very good and clean, and games that I have played before looked much better than on my old TV. The first time I watched an HD movie on it, it was almost like a Cinematic Experience. This TV has delivered more than I expected for such a low price. Consider me one happy NewEgger.
- Cons: Like as stated before, the Remote feels cheap and I cannot get it to work with my Xbox360 Universal...But I can live with that.
