4 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: Works well with a decent picture. For the price, it's a great value for a quality picture in a small HD LED TV. Lot's of nice features for such a inexpensive TV. Picked-up about 40 over the air HD signals (Milwaukee metro) with NO external antenna hooked-up. Plugged in standard cable for cable tv in addition. Perfect!

Cons: Sound is pretty horrible. Fortunately, there are outputs for PC speakers. You will need them!

Other Thoughts: Small footprint, nice looking TV works well in a kitchen or den. Don't expect much from the sound what so ever. Most small LED's have bad sound, I understand this; but this one is extremely "tinney".

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Inexpensive. Picture quality nice when viewing in high definition. Didn't explode.

Cons: Product is cheap. It seemed very fragile. The plastic stand it came with was junk. Only had two holes for screws, though setup instructions indicated it should have four, and four screws were provided. The plastic itself was about as sturdy as the kind you'd find on a 2-liter of soda. Needless to say, this thing wobbled like crazy, and considering the general fragility of this thing, I didn't want to place it on any high surfaces.

The picture quality on non-high def was really poor. It was grainy and lacked saturation. Different picture modes didn't seem to help much.

The sound also stunk. Turned it up full blast and I could hardly soft dialogue from across the room, and even at lower volumes the speakers sounded tinny and produced unwanted noise.

Other Thoughts: This set was smaller than I had hoped for, but that's my own fault for not realizing how small a 24 inch was going to be. I suppose this set would be ok wall mounted in a kitchen, but I really couldn't recommend even that.

Also annoyed that here I was trying to get a good deal on a tv and I have to shell out $40+ dollars on shipping and stocking fees, with no tv to show for it. Probably the last time I buy a TV online.

1 out of 5 eggsiSymphony warranty worthless

Pros: none, since i do not have the set

Cons: Other customers warned about warranty problems. I didn't heed the warnings to my chagrin.
This is my unhappy experience with my iSymphony LC37IF80
8/8/12 - purchased tv
2/15 - first sent notice of tv via email
2/17 - called iSymphony cust serv -
2/17 - filed repair request with proof of purchase
2/24 - repairer picked up tv
3/3 - called repairer - told they are waiting for parts
3/14 - called repairer - told they are waiting for parts
3/26 - called iSymphony cust serv - told: installing new main board , more parts might be needed - "somebody" would call me back by end of day. No call.
3/27 - called iSymphony - told my situation would be given to "a supervisor"
3/29 - called iSymphony - told they would get back to me
4/2 - sent email to iSymphony to say: still waiting - 26 WORKING days since tv picked up -recd email stating "one more repair being attempted"
4/6 - STILL no word and no tv - 6WEEKS NO REPAIR!

Other Thoughts: although my experience was with a different model, I believe from other customer comments that their warranty NON-service applies to all models

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Good picture @ 1080
Bright colors
Easy setup
Easy to switch between inputs
Swivel/Tilt base

Cons: Poor Sound - You really need external speakers. Did I say it has poor sound?
Limited viewing angle, compared to my much larger HD TV. I estimate about 25 degrees off-center starts to degrade picture quality.
Don't bother with the Sound setup menu until you connect external speakers. You cannot make the onboard sound... sound acceptable.

Other Thoughts: After I connected the HD box, and configured for 1080 using an HDMI cable, the picture looks really good. I'm using external powered speakers hooked up to the headphone port for sound. They sound very good.

I've watched some drama shows, hockey, and some cartoons. All were good pictures, with little/if any motion blur detectable.

I think this was a good deal.

Pros: Easy to setup.

Cons: Sound is poor.

Other Thoughts: I can't give it a complete review, because my HD box went on the fritz, so using it through an analog connection. The picture sucks at 480 resolution. I will post another review after I replace the cable box.

1 out of 5 eggsLack of Specs=Failed Purchase

Pros: None

Cons: For the promo code price of 159.99 and if the specs were decent I was going to purchase this. But barely any specifications has kept profits from someone's pocket.

Other Thoughts: Lack of specifications gives the impression this is a product of cheap quality.

1 out of 5 eggsworthless specs

Pros: The totally inadequate specifications provided for this monitor make it impossible to make an informed purchasing decision.

Cons: The current manufacturer and retailer trend to refuse to provide detailed specs to prospective customers is going to backfire on them. We need full specs to know what to buy and what to avoid.

Other Thoughts: Take a look at the full specs that Dell provides for its monitors on the Dell website, and to a lesser extent, here on the Newegg website. That's the minimum of what we need to make any rational choice as to what product to purchase.
