Panasonic delivers a superb view from any angle. The TC-26LX70 has a 178º field of view, both horizontally and vertically. The In-Plane Switching panel makes sure colors are clear and vivid from all over the room. The only thing you have to worry about is not sitting behind the tallest person in the room.

The Intelligent Scene Controller and contrast ratio of up to 7000:1 ensures blacks are as deep as can be with razor sharp clarity. With EZ Sync HDAVI Control, watching a movie is as easy as pressing a single button. One touch of the remote control turns on the TV and your EZ Sync-compatible components instantly and automatically. All you have to do is sit back and watch.

Of course, none of it matters if you can't hook anything up. There are 2 HDMI-HDCP ports, 1 component and 2 S-Video to handle the HD signals. There are also 3 composite inputs and a TV in for your antenna. Panasonic has been perfecting picture technology for a long time; you never know what they'll come up with next, but it's always great!

The solid build and high reputation of Panasonic. The screen is crystal clear and vividly bright. I was overtaken by the picture in full 1080p form. I also bought the Panasonic S54-K DVD Player which is Viera ready in HDMI and they are a perfect match! Get your HDMI cables here for a TON less than the local ripoff stores. Cons: NONE! SOLID LCD TV. Other Thoughts: I just love this 26" LCD!!! I was tight on space and it sits in a beautiful cabinet in our master bedroom. The HDMI cables are the way to go! I bought 2 HDMI cables here for the LCD TV at a 1/4 the price at Best* or even Radio***. I have one HDMI cable for my Cable HD box and one for my Panasonic S54K DVD player, and it's just awesome!!! We just thought our high end standard TV had a good picture, and it does, however, this is more than twice that and I had no idea that there were so many digital channels that come in on our 20 year old standard antenna. Wonderful sound compared to other small sets. Easily the best picture among 26" sets with both SD and HD feeds. Cons: 1 component input, user cant update firmware Other Thoughts: Great TV! I looked at this tv for more than 5 months, and am a chemical engineer. I am used to examining details, and it is clear that this is the best 26" lcd on the market. But cable transmissions interfere with OTA transmissions, and therefore, a combiner wouldn't seem to be the answer. The answer is to make two RF inputs available. Good even the analog broadcasts I receive but you can tell the difference. Cons: None so far. Still working on the sound leveling though. Other Thoughts: I have four LCD Tv's. A 15"-26"-32" and a 37". Am on satellite and of course, it is all digital but if they receive a bad analog signal they can't improve it. Did you find this review helpful?
