Pros: This TV's picture is phenomenal. I do not have blue ray but watching Saving Private Ryan on an upconverted DVD through HDMI was amazing. I have never seen such detail. Watching a 1080p football game is awesome as well. I am surprised how rough the fields look. I thought it was all uniform grass.
Cons: The remote is not impressive.
Other Thoughts: My entire family was mesmirized by this thing the first couple of nights with people oo-ing and awing at the picture. We have a 1080p LCD and this thing puts it to shame-- big time. Most broadcasts we watch are in 720p and it is amazing as well. An upconverted DVD through HDMI (like Transformers) is breathtaking if it is a newer DVD but older ones look kinda rough. Do not even think about using s-video or rca cables with this. Although the picture is decent you are missing out. Use HDMI or component in. The fiber optic digital out was an awesome feature. I only have two cables going in --coax from my cable company (thats why you want a tuner) which offers high def local channels and an HDMI going in from the upconverting DVD. Going out it one fiber optic digital audio out straight to my reciever. Incidentally that is also the only connection going in to my reciever (fiber optic)since all video sources go through the tv. I do not need tons of wires going to my stereo now.

Pros: Just like the other models and sizes on Panasonic's PZ line, this is a very nice plasma set. Placed in a room where I have near complete control over lighting and sit about 8.5 feet from the screen, the 46" display is the perfect size and yields a picture that is easily on par or better than our 1-year-old Sony LCD.
This set definitely handles blacks and motion better, and I was surprised to find how vivid and bright this display can get, even when weighed against an LCD.
Cons: Not thrilled with the remote, but this is a minor quibble since many/most will use a universal for standard use.
Other Thoughts: The design of the unit is very sharp -- the all-black finish looks good on the wall. The rear layout is very good, allowing for easy cable access and ample airflow when wall-mounted.
While the expected connections are on the back, this set has S-Video, component, and HDMI inputs in the front for the easy connection of any type of device. The SD Card slot is also in the front.
It's all good news. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Ordered it early on a Thursday morning and it was delivered early the following Tuesday.

Pros: Price. Enough inputs for my needs. HDMI input on the front for my computer. The stand is very sturdy. The speakers aren't amazing, but they are better than most TV's that I've heard. 1080p from my Xbox360 looks great.
Cons: It wasn't free?

Pros: Easy setup and WOW! A great picture and the sound isn't bad, although I do have a surround sound system too. I think this was the best choice I made. I did alot of research on all brands, sizes, plazma, hD, etc and Plasma was the best choice. Plenty of options in the menu too...
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Maybe I should have gotten the same thing in 50", but then again, I don't have a huge family room...
