Pros: It has some nice features, including the iPod dock, SD card slot, and Viera Sync. The pictures are pretty crisp. The base is pretty solid. The menu has a setting to input your own names for the channels and the ability to preset favorites.
Cons: The sound is weak. Despite the picture being decent, changing to HD channels takes too long. The screen will be snowy, then pop into the channel. Most of the HD channels I have I need to press the "format" button to reset the aspect ratio of the incoming signal. Even though I bought this TV on sale, the original price of 599.99 isn't justifiable at all for this set. I have a 32" Vizio from Walmart that has a larger screen and better picture clarity. The color looks kind of low unless you change the settings.
Other Thoughts: I was going to send the TV back, but my mom said it's fine for her. I'm looking into getting an HD cable box to avoid using the TV's weak channel switching capabilities and to know what HD channel I'm watching. This TV is perfect for someone not looking for too many frills, but anyone expecting high end quality would be better off looking at a retail or department store to experience the quality prior to buying any model of television.

Pros: All in all an excellent HDTV. Picture is crisp and clear and colorful! Have not made any changes to picture settings yet. i don't see a need yet! Sound is also really clear...I didn't even think about how much the audio would improve when we were thinking about getting a new tv but it is definitely better! We usually watch it with the sound level between 6 and 15 so plenty of room to turn it way up when/if we ever need to. Very impressed.
Cons: None that I can think of. For the price you just cant beat the quality.
Other Thoughts: Made this purchase after reading and researching for about a week. It really paid off...This is our first HDTV and I think we will struggle to watch any SD tv again! Would recommend for anyone looking at 32" HDTVs.

Pros: Good picture, name brand TV. Lots of inputs.
Cons: No analog audio output! I looked at this TV in the store and the speakers on it are terrible. If you want this TV be sure you have a receiver or something that accepts digital audio.
