Pros: Excellent Picture Quality even the Satellite guys were amazed at the picture quality when setting up the HD receiver. Very easy set-up. VIERA Image Viewer - Great extra. Just insert the SD Card and view your photos in excellent quality.

Pros: Straight up, this Plasma is the bomb! The picture is to good to be true. The ease of use is awesome. Games, movies, etc are the best on this set. Shipping was fast and curtious.
Cons: Are you kidding me?
Other Thoughts: The delivery was great, 'ol dude helped me swap out TV's. Box in excellent condition when it showed up, not even dusty. Great experience buying a 50" plasma from Newegg. I couldn't be happier, hands down!

Pros: Crisp display with Good native color accuracy.
Works great in all modes I have used it in, which include:
Computer Monitor (1920x1080) Gaming Console Head (1080i/p off of XBOX360) SDTV HDTV (720p or 1080i/p)
Native upconvert works seemlessly; it is very difficult to spot the difference between 720p and 1080i/p content.
Speakers are decent to fair; they will not replace a dedicated system but are fine for TV.
Cons: Price perhaps, but it is significantly cheaper than any quality LCD or LED/LCD screen out there in the same size class, and matches or surpasses most for quality.
Other Thoughts: I have not used any of the online features, so cannot comment on them.
Overall a great TV or HTPC monitor.
Don't bother buying an LCD/LED with these available!

Other Thoughts: I looked alot at LCDs and i was blown away by a couple Samsungs with the 240 hz but it looked fake, this G10 has a more realalistic look to PQ, the colors are just great on this plasma, the HD local channels look unreal with this TV, newegg sevice was great as allways, i ordered this same tv from a mazon and it showed up defective and they were OOS still waiting on refund from them only been 3 weeks.

Stunning In Every Way!

Pros: Deep rich blacks, vibrant and beautiful colors. This TV has it all. Several friends of mine came over to check it out and were amazed at the picture. None of them own Plasma's and unfortunately had fallen victim to the negative marketing about it. Suffice to say, they are now jealous of the quality my Panasonic has, and at a fraction of the price they paid for their 50" LCD's.
It is all true - the G10 has terrific viewing angles, is great for watching sports on, and the THX mode is AMAZING! Keep in mind that this mode is meant to be used in a completely dark room, (think about simulating a theater environment) and it is downright astounding to see. For normal viewing I watch Game mode, as it makes the colors jump out at you.
Some people complain about the speakers, but they are wrong! I am awaiting a 7.1 surround sound system in the mail, but in the mean time had to use these speakers. Adjust the bass to 11 and the treble to 7 and they sound very, very good!
Cons: Hard to find any. The VieraCast is a nice feature, but you must connect an ethernet cable to connect the TV to the internet. It would have been nice to have wireless built in, or at least be given the option to purchase a dongle from Panasonic. Instead I am buying a wireless to ethernet adapter to hook it up to.
Other than that, it is hard to find any faults with this TV.
Other Thoughts: For the price I got it for on Newegg, I feel like it was a complete STEAL! When I think about it I still can't believe the value of the TV, especially when compared to far more expensive, but ultimately inferior, (in several ways) LCD TVs. Do yourself a favor and buy this TV. You will not ever be disappointed. And just wait until you see a Blu-ray with all of the lights off and the THX mode on. If you have surround sound you will no longer want to go to the theater, because you'll never want to stop watching this TV!
It provides everything you could possibly want, and on top of that , it has Amzon Video-On-Demand. The quality of HD movies on the Amzon VOD is actually very good. As good, if not better, than the HD you get from normal HD channels on TV.
Overall, I believe this TV could do battle, and win, with TV's at least $1000 more. It is THAT good. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. I spent 6 months researching for a new TV, and it was well worth i
