4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Excellent color. Decent sound. More options than most people will use (SD card input, Viera Tools) but still easy to navigate through. Well thought out controller. I watch movies and play games on this thing and there is no motion blur or delay. Best looking LCD I've used.

Cons: Screen is a little on the dark side. If you put it facing a window with sunlight it will be hard to see. But on the flip side it has great contrast.

The contrast ratio is almost too good. Some games require tweaking the settings so you can see the bad guys even if they are hiding in the shadows. But you can't really hate on Panasonic for making a lcd that actually shows black for what it is.

The glossy edges are dust magnets.

Other Thoughts: I know most people mention this in reviews on this, but Newegg shipping rocks. Very inexpensive and quick.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV for the price

Pros: Great TV for the price. Looks great even without HD. Got this here for $100. Can't beat Newegg shipping.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Looks great with the Wii

5 out of 5 eggsTo "thegreataus"

Pros: PQ beats out LG by a landslide this year. Still not up to Samsung and Sony standards in black levels, but thats because of the IPS panel instead of PVA. Where IPS shines is with viewing angles.

Cons: Even though these are still IPS-Alpha panels, the input lag has increased this year. Last year models were great with at most 1 frame of lag, these are around 2-3. But its still better then 90% of other LCDs being sold this year.

Other Thoughts: To use as a monitor, use the HDMI cable, set the TV to 1:1 mode, and set your scailing to 1:1 in your graphics driver. The TV doesnt overscan if you set it up right.

3 out of 5 eggsNice TV...except if you want to connect a computer to it

Pros: Very nice image overall using a Sony PS3 with an HDMI cable. Have not actually tried normal tv.

Cons: However, when you try to hook up a computer with an HDMI cable, the edges of the screen are off the edge of the tv.

Other Thoughts: If you actually use the 'PC' cable port, i.e. a VGA cable, it automatically scales the resolution down to a 1366x768 image. Which is not what I wanted at all, however, the image does fit though...So yeah. Probably will be sending it back as this was going to be used to play movies off of Network Area Storage through a PC/laptop as I do not want to buy another PS3 to make my tv functional with the way I want it to be.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice display

Pros: IPS panel, 1080p, HDMI everything, colorful display.

Cons: Packaging not suitable for shipping.

Other Thoughts: It arrived a day later than the original estimated date squished and holes in the box. I was hesitant as I opened up the box but it survived and the image quality is excellent.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent picture

Pros: Upgraded from my old/dead Astar 32" LCD (2006). WOW what a difference! Picture is amazing in comparison. Picks up half dozen HD channels without cable box. Watched many action movies on DVD and streamed from netflix. Never had any pixelling like my old tv. (expecially movie explosions would pixelate on my old tv, not now!) Also weighs much less than my Astar and 5" larger. No problems with dead pixels or anything like that. I took it out of the box, programed the channels (3-5min) and was happily watching my new tv:-)

Cons: As usual the speakers are average, but I use home surround speakers like most ppl anyway. Also, like most tv's, I had to spend some time tweaking the color settings for my tastes and apartment. Pain in the neck, but standard.

Other Thoughts: I use a DVI - HDMI cable from my computer and haven't had a problem. Internet and text dont quite fit perfectly but not a problem as I use it for movies/tv. I'm not a gamer so I cant speak on that. There are many built in options and tools that I'll probably never use. Perfect size for my place. I paid $549 total. Cant beat the price/performance ratio compared to other names.
