Best Plasma ever
Pros: Infinite black pro panel creates the best blacks and the best whites and I just saw this tv in a store and it blows away the other plasmas lg and samsung dont come close to the image quality it looks better than the high end vt series from last year the 2500 focused field drive is a awsome feature super smooth motion 6 million pixels 3 times more than there panel last year is absolutely crazy if you put your face right up to the screen the pixels are smallest ive ever scene 1/3 the size of last years this tv is awsome they say plasmas use alot more power than led but i own a 46 inch led and when i the backlight is turned to 100% and you set the tv to your own custom preferences they use quite alot more power my 46 inch led is rated at 175 watts set to factory settings whitch is 50% backlight and low setting across the board with my settings using a wattage meter whitch you can buy online for $20 the led tv is now pulling between 280 -330 watts not much less than a plasma .
Cons: none this tv has better image quality than any led or plasma that i saw and i spend few hours a month at the electronics stores so ive scene everything they have lol one con i have is that this tv was cheaper at the store than on newegg ive scene this tv priced at $1199 with a 2 year warranty will wait till this tv hits $999 to replace my 46 inch led ive scene this tvs predecessor last years tc p50st30 going for a little as $799 at some stores so this tv will drop in price fast especially seeing that the gt and vt series tvs will hit store shelves soon
Other Thoughts: would like newegg to offer some higher end plasmas like the panasonic vt series here. if you like to whatch standard def tv than this tv is for you panasonic plasmas produce much better sd picture than led tvs and slightly better hd picture though they lack passive 3d whitch in my opinion is superior to to active for overall movie experience in 3d
