B 6/7/2012 3:01:57 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 1/5Be Warned Pros: I'll start by saying, the BlackCrystal I bought here was a 32", but they aren't carrying it anymore so I chose to review this one. The picture and sound aren't bad. If the quality of the product wasn't horrible and the customer service wasn't lacking I'd give this a solid 3 stars. Cons: After having this TV for 3 months I went to turn it on last night and all that would come up was the JVC logo. I unplugged it overnight and when I plugged it back in it wouldn't do anything, the only indicator that it was alive was the glowing red indicator on the front panel. Do a search for "JLC32BC3000 won't turn on" and you'll see it's a huge problem with the JVC BlackCrystal family. I called JVC customer service and was treated to a pleasant young lady of Indian descent who made me spell everything I said. Then after spelling it she would repeat it back to me incorrectly. It was great. I was then told to give her my credit card number and she would put a hold on my card for the original cost of the television. They would send me a refurbished replacement, then when they got their TV back they'd refund my card. I told her it wasn't happening. End Result: Prepaid box, I mail them my 3 month old TV,they replace it with a refurbished TV of unknown age. I'll never buy anot Other Thoughts: I've had a Samsung plasma for about 5 years now and It's never given me a day of trouble. I have a Samsung monitor that I had for 2.5 years, the backlight died, they fixed it at no cost to me, and 2 years later it's still going strong.
