5 out of 5 eggseggcellent tv

Pros: bang for buck, this TV is a great deal. Crystal clear image, sharp contrast, everything you would expect from a HDTV. Lots of HDMI, small outside frame which I personally like. I have it mounted on an articulating wall mount so I cannot say much about the stand. Everything I wanted and a little more :)

Cons: The only con if you can call it that is how the other inputs are oriented. Just a little nitpicky in my case as I had to change my current set up just a little but since I got a free HDMI cable with my mount, I was able to get around it just fine, all the ports either come out of the side or the bottom. None out of the back

Other Thoughts: Looking for a budget HDTV with everything thing you need? This is your TV.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV for the price, no regrets

Pros: Great picture even in bright light, 1080p so BluRay's play at optimal resolution, the built-in high definition ASCI tuner works very well and pulls in all the local stations nicely via a cheap $10 antenna.

Cons: Without getting ridiculously nitpicky there are none.

Other Thoughts: This is the lowest priced 40" class LED 1080p television i saw on he market which made me reluctant to pull the trigger but in the end I'm glad I made the purchase and have enjoyed the TV for several months.

2 out of 5 eggsWarping

Pros: -Seemingly decent picture quality
-Light for its size
-Energy Efficient

Cons: Out of the box, the LCD panel was separated from the backlight in several places around the edge of the screen. I believe this was because the black outer frame was warped. The image was distorted around the places where the panel was separated. Decided to exchange for another brand.

Other Thoughts: I went with a local retailer for this one because I couldn't find a lot of reviews and I wanted to be able to return it easily. Good choice. I wouldn't necessarily discourage everyone from buying this TV, because I really believe it could have been nice enough if it hadn't been for the warping. If you buy it, just expect that you may need to exchange it.

3 out of 5 eggsDecently Cheap

Pros: Cheap!
Decent enough picture quality

Cons: Lack of Manufacturer support
No DirecTV remote code

Other Thoughts: I bought this TV for my father-in-law just to have a nice little flat screen in his study. He's 81, he doesn't need much, and he doesn't have much energy to do much other than watch TV. The set is decent enough but the lack of a DirecTV remote code is very annoying. I would try a different brand.

5 out of 5 eggsNewegg to The Rescue

Pros: Worked great for about 2 weeks.
Amazing Picture, 3 HDMI ports.
Looked amazing for games and movies.
Sound was good.

Cons: Just turned off and wouldn't turn back on at all after almost 2 weeks.
RMA'd it back with some issues - see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: RMA received it and said it was cracked, so a shipping error I assume.
Called the RMA department and the wonderful custom service rep helped me to get Newegg to send me a new one as it was not my fault. Couldn't be happier, as I could have ended up with a broken tv and a broken screen. Thank you newegg you have been amazing!

1 out of 5 eggsStopped working after 2 weeks.

Pros: Great buy and picture was great.

Cons: Stopped working after a couple of weeks. NewEgg can't do anything because I do not have the original box. When purchased, didn't keep the original container with the thought that I would have to return at some point.

Other Thoughts: Company of product is working with me to rectify the problem.

1 out of 5 eggsSnap! Crackle! Pop!.

Pros: Good picture, Easy to use.

Cons: TV makes a loud popping sound every few minutes when on

Other Thoughts: I have had this tv three weeks and although the tv still works a couple of days ago it started crackling and popping from the back every few minutes when it is on. I just threw out the box it came in so newegg won't except a return. I am worried that it might affect my pc that this is connected to. What to do now?

5 out of 5 eggsA very good deal for a $300

Pros: -Best TV for the price ($300 for an LED backlight LCD)
-Amazing picture quality
-very thin and light.
-3 x HDMI
-Speakers are much louder than expected

Cons: -No backlight adjusting. Sometimes the TV is to bright, but its not possible to adjust the setting.
-To much color saturation, but can be fixed with adjusting
-Very cheap plastic stand. I'm afraid it is going to break! I would expect at least a metal plate or strong plastic to hold it together. TV is very wobbly.
-The connectors on the back of the TV are a pain to connect to. It is only helpful if mounted to the wall
-Speakers lack "Volume" but, at least they are decent.

Other Thoughts: I needed a cheap TV, as my reject $800 s@mSUng went out... twice! after only 3-4 years. So I gave this a shot as anything was better than the previous TV that I wasted money on. So far, it has been great with no issues besides what is listed in the cons section. You can't beat that for $300. I am kind of weary on how long it will last due to the build quality of TVs now, but at least if it doesn't last very long, I won't be wasting as much as I did on my previous set!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: For the $369.99 plus free shipping that I paid for it the TV is great.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: I have not notice any distorted sounds. I have the bass and treble set flat.
