5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Customer Service

Pros: Nice price/performance ratio.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought a 32" Westinghouse LCD TV from Newegg in 10/06. After 1.5 years the picture started having issues. I called Westinghouse customer service and they said that they would replace it even though it was .5 year out of warranty. They sent me this replacement TV for no cost. I am very pleased with the customer service they provided me and will continue to purchase from a company that stands behind their customer.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing tv

Pros: amazing picture, my xbox 360 looks great, even regular DVDs look good on there, if you're looking for a cheaper 32" tv go with this one

Cons: when you first use it the picture is somewhat washed out but its easily fixed, just turn the backlight, brightness and contrast down a little bit

Other Thoughts: JUST GET IT ALREADY!

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the price

Pros: price, quality, look.

Cons: colors could be more vivid, contrast ratio is low, tv is laggy when using the remote, speaker quality/size

Other Thoughts: If you have an old boombox with AV AUX hookups it really improves the sound quality. perfect for the college/low budget LCD HDTV. Analog/Digital TV is nice on this set when not in HD. bought for 570 @ bset buy... did research here. look for it in weekly ads from there, usually cheaper

4 out of 5 eggsdecent set

Pros: Automatic swtiching of sources, nice display, good amount of connections, price, nice looking

Cons: -VGA port has native resolution of 1024x768 and i couldn't force a widescreen format without distorting the image. i ordered a hdmi/dvi cable to see if that input has any widescreen resolutions

Other Thoughts: overall a nice product for the money. look around online, i found one of these with a front loading upscale dvd player built in for $450.

great tv so far...wouldnt buy for use as a monitor (will update if i have better luck with the HDMI port).

4 out of 5 eggsVery Good LCD TV

Pros: I have not owned this TV very long, and that is why I did not give it a five star rating. Lots of hook-ups for components. Easy Set up. Some other people were complaining about display on the tuner but I use digital cable so its not a issue for me. I was lucky to get this TV local for the same price as Newegg so I saved the shipping

Cons: None soo far.

Other Thoughts: The only real bad thing is that I now have to purchase a new entertainment center.

1 out of 5 eggsi will never buy a westinghouse TV again

Pros: it was great while it lasted.

Cons: I do not have this particular TV. I bought a (now discontinued) LTV-32W1. The power supply died in the middle of a movie 6 months after the 1-year warranty. Estimated repair cost $350. Several different repair people I called told me that Westinghouse TVs have poor build quality and it's common for them to die soon after the warranty expires. If you really want one, strongly consider the extended warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome picture, annoying tuner

Pros: Beautiful picture
very bright
lots of inputs
good contrast
nice cabinet aesthetics
HD tuner

Cons: TV tuner displays resolution, signal strength and channel name on every channel - can't be turned off

Tuner scans through too many channels on cable - long manual setup for channel options

Remote is terrible

Other Thoughts: The information that is displayed every time I change the channel is interesting - for about 2 seconds - then it just takes up a chunk of the screen for a few seconds every time. I just wish I had the option of turning it off - then the TV would be wonderful...

other than that there's nothing wrong with the TV at all - though the decimal system of channel changing turns me off a bit too

The remote is pretty unresponsive and easily fixed with a universal remote.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy This TV

Pros: None

Cons: Green Faces, washed out colors on every input

Other Thoughts: Do not get this TV, I bought this from Best Buy as a gift for my son for X-MAS. HD looked washed out and the Wii looked horrible green everywhere. Returned it and got the Panny 32-LX70 which is a great TV.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Perfect! I searched all over to find the best LCD for the best price and as I stood between a Sony, a Samsung and this Westinghouse, I found myself riveted by the image quality. The other two lacked the brightness and the blacks that this one provided. I got this at (Best--y) for under $500 on sale. With two HDMI ports, 1200:1 Contrast Ratio and 8ms response time... Can't be beat! Buy it!

Cons: None
