1 out of 5 eggsTerrible TV

Pros: Looked good for the month of the warranty.
Decent Price

Cons: Picture started flickering right after the 30 day warranty ended.
After a while, I noticed tapping the top of it can bring the picture back. It's still annoying though.
It's been a few months since I've had the TV and I'm currently looking into other brands now.
I'll be destroying this thing Office Space style as soon as I get a new TV and making a video. Stay tuned.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't throw away your $ on this TV

Pros: Cheap price matches the cheap componets put in the set.

Cons: Save your money, buy a better set. Basically, this TV sucks. Picture looks good for the short time it lasts. Might last a day, a week or month(s), but it WILL die. Search this on the internet and you'll see bad reviews up the kazoo on Westinghouse TV's.

Other Thoughts: 3 of 4 reviewers to date have had the TV die on them, one reviewer has only had the set one week and is unaware he'll be soon joining the "Westinghouse Blows" club.

5 out of 5 eggs$200.00

Pros: great picture. easy remote, easy set up after you get the code you need to put in over air stations, and get adapter for headphone or speakers the red and yellow ones for audio. Its early but well worth it so far.

Cons: sound not that great but then I don't use tv speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsNice tv, great value

Pros: I enjoy playing Diablo 3 on it. High contrast. Thin, I don't feel it's any worse than a bigger brand name. Low power consumption. Solid, survived a tumble off my desk. Nice remote. Owned it for almost a year. Using it as a monitor right now, tv before. I'm happy with it. Blacks look good. Selling point for me was that it's an inexpensive LED with dynamic contrast. Really need that with lcd and led tv's. Has an external power supply(meh) with a long enough cord(pro) to put on the floor, around 6' cord to power supply.

Cons: Slow channel change(does anyone use that though?). Thick bezel. Stand is wobbly. Like any LED tv, speakers are poor. But you should always expect this with a thin tv, thin speakers are never high performance. The second time this fell to the floor when my desk got bumped into, a column of pixels went green off to the left. However it's a solid tv since thats all that went wrong. TV's are my least favorite thing to buy online.

Other Thoughts: Go into the settings to enable dynamic contrast. Then, if you're like me, lower the brightness. If I could do it again I would have bought the 40" LED from this brand. Or 1 from life's good, biggest producer of screens worldwide, and seem to always include dynamic contrast. LCD's are dead to me, plasmas are still great for picture quality, but LED's are just so thin.

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT BUY Westinghouse

Pros: Easy to operate, fair price.

Cons: Westinghouse uses cheap electronic components in their devices which will cause them to fail often before their warranty period or very soon after. I bought a 22" LED/LCD monitor, and withing 9 months it went bad due to cheap capacitors. Researched on google and it was a widespread problem. Thinking it was localized to just that unit, I bought a 46" LED/LCT Westinghouse TV and within two months the backlit LEDS started to go out intermittently, one place stays dark consistently at bottom. Again, a case of cheap electronics. These are made to fail on you. Do research online into the problems people are having with Westinghouse products to validate my testimony so you'll see I'm not alone. I also called them make a claim on their warranty repair. They asked me to describe the problem and then gave me an email address and asked me to take some photos of the TV and mail it to them and they would send out a repair man when one was available. Still nobody after 5 mos.

Other Thoughts: Stay away from Westinghouse. I've spent over $1200 and both are broken. One is totally non functional, and the other is unusable due to it's dark spot on the TV, and the fact they have refused to honor their own warranty on the TV (Best Buy $679 at the time) after the product broke after only 2 months. Going to have to take them to court to get this settled.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's Cheap...not inexpensive

Pros: Low price, decent picture quality, very thin, decent style

Cons: Horrible sound quality - it seriously sounds like you have a set of headphones in a tin bucket. It outputs to real speakers if you have a set you want to use.

Bad build quality went through two of these sets in 2 months both with the same issue of horizontal lines across the picture. One also had a dead hdmi port.

Volume control- the first half of the volume scale on the remote is wisper quiet as soon as it goes over 51% it is incredibly loud-which makes you realize how bad the speakers on it are.

Other Thoughts: We spend 2 months of 4 months time we had the TV with out it while it was getting replaced. Ended up taking a loss on it buying from a big box retailer as they stopped carrying the model and offered store credit on their overpriced models
