3 out of 5 eggsPros and Cons

Pros: Excellent picture!
Very affordable.
Lightweight.
Easy to hang on the wall.

Cons: The screen started flickering on the left side at 18 months after purchasing.
The board died and the TV is dead at 22 months. Can not turn it on.
Sound has been terrible from the start, but IMO this is a minor issue since I have it connected to my sound system.
The stand was flimsy, my kids actually tipped the TV over (2nd day we owned it) accidentally by just bumping into the stand.

Other Thoughts: Overall I do not regret buying the TV. The value was great. Keep in mind you are not getting a smart TV, no frills, bad sound, but the trade off is a very affordable 120 hz 1080p crisp picture. I would have given it 4 or 5 starts it had lasted closer to 5 years. I have an Olivia that I bought from Target almost 7 years ago and it's running great.

I said the sound was bad, but let me elaborate a little. First off it's quiet, you have to turn it up almost all the way before you can hear it 10 feet away. The quality is very bad, I sort of expect television speakers to be bad quality so to me that just comes with the territory. There was a fuzz sound, sort of that noise back in the day when you didn't have good reception with your bunny ears; yeah that was always there.

I would recommend this TV for anyone on a budget who plans to use sound other than the speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Issues

Pros: Great picture quality for the price point. Easy to set up, and remote works well from a distance. A nice light weight tv.

Cons: None at this point

Other Thoughts: I've had this tv for a little over a month, and I have it in the bedroom. Usage is not huge, but one where I use enough to not understand all the negative comments. This replaced an existing 27" LCD that is 3 times the weight of this unit. The stand is a little flimsy, but not a huge issue as some stated. I don't have kids to worry about, and I guess that if I bumped the dresser hard enough to the point the tv fell, I shouldn't expect any stand to hold up. I've also accessed all the settings to see which would I preferred during the day, at night, etc. All scenes looked great. I don't have any of the soap opera effect, watched all types of shows including sports with no issues.

1 out of 5 eggsFailing backlight

Pros: Cheap
Decent color and picture

Cons: After just under a year of ownership and the backlight has failed on the left 1/3 of the screen.

Flimsy stand

Other Thoughts: When I replace I'll pay more to get better overall quality

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing for the Price

Pros: I got this TV on sale for 399.99. Great picture, and would buy another if the same price was ever advertised again.

Cons: Extremely shaky stand, very scary and unreliable.

Other Thoughts: I bought this TV out of want and no need. It currently sits in my bedroom where we had no TV before. If this TV was put in an area with high walking traffic I would be very scared. Simple bumps into my dresser cause this TV to move and shift alot. This TV is only good at the sale price and would not be worth the 699.99$ price tag normally.

1 out of 5 eggsLooked like a great deal....

Pros: 1080p 120hz for under $400.
Speakers are nicer than most LED televisions.

Can only see the dust-bunny shadows on a white / light screen.......
They can beat any other value brand for having the LEAST value.... GOOD JOB WESTINGHOUSE!

Cons: The biggest Con.... Aside from the washed out colors (acceptable at this pricepoint), and the flimsy stand (also acceptable at this pricepoint).... Lets see...
How about having the TV on, and seeing large shadows caused by what looks like dust-bunnies between the LED backlight and the LCD screen!!!! YES!!!! Dust-bunny caused shadows in between the backlight and the display! WORST "value" brand purchase EVER.

Other Thoughts: Yeah, I do expect cheapness in a cheap value brand.... but this takes it to a whole new level. I expected cheap. I expected it to not be high quality.... But I expected it to have at least LOW QUALITY..... the thing has NO QUALITY... zero.
And Westinghouse told me to pretty much "Pound Dirt"
Had this brand before, and it was fine back then.... My how could it get ANY WORSE THAN THIS??? It cant.
