4 out of 5 eggsIt's a TV

Pros: It's a tv, it shows pictures; picture quality is on par with other 1080p tvs; it's inexpensive

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: i am using this as a television and as a computer monitor; works perfectly as a television, sometimes loses signal when in use as computer monitor

4 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Has great picture, 1080p is fantastic. Colors are good, blacks are great. Lots of inputs, 4 HDMI. Got it working 100% with my harmony remote, you have to learn the 'ok' button from the remote. The one Logitech picks is close, but not an exact match. I had to have it cycle through the inputs and then have it press 'select/ok' to get the activities to work correctly.

Cons: Speakers, volume is too high even at it's lowest. Sound is so/so, for its size it's fine.

Other Thoughts: I picked it up for $350, shipped w/ no tax. Great deal, tried a few Panasonic's but they lacked the 1080p. This TV ended up being the same price as a 32" or 37" Panasonic (both on sale the week I purchased). I think it looks as good as both of the TVs I bought prior.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat T/V for the money

Pros: I bought this to replace my 22" monitor. Picture is very good. So far working very well as a monitor. Lots of conections.

Cons: No auto outs, But not a big deal because I'm useing on my computer.

Other Thoughts: Don't know if was shipping but their was a big hole in the box when I got it. T/V seems to be fine. No scratches or broken pieces, and picture is very good.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: 12 inputs, 4 of those HDMI. I use this set as a HDTV and a PC monitor. Right out of the box it was awesome. The only adjustment I made was I turned the backlight all the way down, then adjusted my brightness and contrast down some as well. The picture was so bright it was blinding before I did this.

I have had no problems with text and Win 7 automatically set it up on the computer the minute I turned it on. I can't say enough about this TV / monitor setup. Aircraft Gauges in the cockpit in FSX are life size on this screen.

No complaints about the remote either. Well lighted buttons would have been nice. But I ordered this set weekend before last when it was an absolute steal so I really can't complain.

NewEgg is still offering this set for 100 less than retail and it's 1080P not 720 like some that are still in the same price range. If you're planning on using this as a monitor you can't go wrong if you have a HD video card and use a DVI to HDMI or HDMI to HDMI cable.

Cons: No picture in picture

Other Thoughts: For a monitor it is absolutely awesome. Why some have problems and some don't is beyond me.

I'm using an XFX ATI HD Radeon 5750 video card in an AMD 3.0 ghz Phenom II Quad core system with 8gigs of DDR3 at 1333mhz. Parts purchased through my brother's NewEgg account and built by me. I use a DVI to HDMI cable to hook up to it.

If this is your first time shopping with NewEgg you'll be back. My entire family and 4 other friends shop NewEgg almost exclusively now when it comes to electronics.

5 out of 5 eggsNice For The Price

Pros: Inputs,1080p,price

Cons: Remote is ok could be better

Other Thoughts: You can read some other reviews on the pros and cons , mostly pros, this is a nice set for the price.I just wanted to make a comment on one of the cons which is the text readability while using this as a pc monitor. You can adjust the DPI set clear type text in windows 7,just type DPI in the search box.Run though it a few times till you get it tuned, also chose a different font I am using Georgia scaled up to 18 for my system and browser. This really helps it is now very close to my 24 inch for PC monitor in clarity.I am a big reader so this was important to me it looks very good, I like to sit way back from the screen and kick back so now with a 32 inch screen I can with out straining my eyes.

Also make sure you use the HDMI as the input from your video card,so you are running in 1080.
Just buy a LD-DVI10HDMI they sell here if you want to use this as a pc monitor.
Games and movies look over the top out of the box no problem and with a little tweaking the text is clear and read

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: This TV has 12 inputs and great picture quality. I haven't had to make any adjustments to anything. Just hooked it up and ready to go.
I have 1 PC connected using a VGA cable. It is Very nice. Especially since Windows XP will let you set the font size to 24 for all onscreen fonts. I can sit WAAY back and read everything clearly. Even with XP set to default font sizes it's no different than an LCD monitor. Nice clear text but too small to read from 16 feet away.

Connect a 12mm to L/R RCA cable from the headphone jack on the TV to your home theater system for great sound.

Some Playstation games may cause nausea when sitting too close to this screen.

Cons: Unlike Hanns-G products which give you 3 years warranty, this TV only comes with 1 year warranty.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a cheap RCA passive HD antenna, and even though I literally live in the middle of nowhere I still pickup some channels with GREAT reception. The HD guide is very nice.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat 1080p LCD HDTV, especially for the price!

Pros: + GREAT DEAL! Most inexpensive 1080p 32" LCD HDTV out there (at least, when on sale for $350 as it was when I purchased it). Most TVs in this price range are only 720p
+ Very bright, excellent contrast, screen is very capable of displaying a beautiful image with the full spectrum of colors (you will need to do some calibration and adjust the default settings to get the best picture, though, as is true with pretty much any display)
+ Full 1080p video looks fantastic
+ Sleek design, looks very nice
+ Screen swivels on base
+ Excellent connectivity (4 HDMI ports and lots more!)
+ Great viewing angle
+ Very even backlighting
+ HANNspree logo has an adjustable backlight (pretty cool, and you can turn it off completely)
+ 6ft HDMI cable, remote (it's universal so it works with other devices too!), batteries, and screen cleaning cloth included
+ No dead pixels or other defects

In short: This is a GREAT HDTV especially for the price, but you should get a real monitor if that's wh

Cons: - Color/picture settings are limited. Difficult to really fine-tune the color settings...look at the manual online for details on what's available.
- Cannot disable some of the "enhancements" that attempt to make the input signal "better" before displaying it. This is an issue when you are using the TV as an external monitor for your computer, as the TV tries to enhance/sharpen the image instead of just showing it pixel by pixel as the signal came. The effect is that text (or any other fine lines or edges) on any background besides plain white or black end up getting messed with so that they have a "halo" or "glow" of white around it...making text often hard to read. Cannot fix this with smoothing or antialiasing settings...it has to do with the TV's signal processing. This is not a problem for most pictures or videos (which the screen is built to display)...so beware if you plan on using this as a monitor (best bet would probably be the 28" HannsG).
- Screen doesn't tilt

Other Thoughts: ~ Weighs just under 30lbs

I purchased this TV to be used exclusively as a secondary monitor with my Aluminum MacBook (late 2008, with 9400M integrated graphics). Connects via a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (get it elsewhere online) and runs the screen at full 1080p with no problem. Setup is very easy, Mac OS X defaulted the resolution to 720p, but one click took it to full 1080p. Make sure the Overscan option is selected so that it fills the screen. Required a good deal of picture settings adjustment and calibration on the TV itself and in OSX to really get a great picture. Video, photos, etc are beautiful (and I would assume games as well). Text is a different story, see the cons section above for more on that. I would buy a monitor if you need to read text/webpages, as HDTVs aren't quite designed for that. Pixel pitch is definitely larger than a regular monitor, but is completely acceptable (since the 32" screen is running at 1080p). Haven't used the built-in speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent bang for the buck

Pros: I have had the HannsG 28in monitor since last Xmas and love it so I thought I would give this TV a try. So far I have no regrets. After some fine tuning of the settings I've got a fantastic picture with vivid colors.

Tons of inputs! I'm currently using 3 of the 4 HDMI ports between my cable box, PS3, and media center PC. I don't even need to tap into the other inputs! I hooked up the cable input just for kicks to see how the built in tuner works and was more than satisfied, but since I have an HD cable box there's no reason to use the TV in that way.

Good remote, intuitive menus, excellent speakers in my opinion. It's not home audio sound system of course but they are more that satisfactory for speakers built into an LCD.

Cons: The TV has a high viewing angle, but the picture does wash out as you get to extreme angles. Some TVs I had looked at don't do this (like ones using IPS panels) but since I don't watch the TV from way off to the side I don't consider it much of a problem, but it IS the one thing I would improve on the TV, but was prepared for it to be like this.

Other Thoughts: Everyone complaining about not being able to get a good picture from their PC is crazy. The trick (and you should have gathered this from other reviews by now) is that you have to hook your PC up via HDMI. This TV, just like most others I've encountered (Samsung for instance) can't do 1920x1080 over the D-Sub (vga) connector. The max I got was 1600x900, which of course ends up getting scaled to fit and gives you an unclear picture. If you're going to use the D-Sub input then set it for 720p (1280x720) and it will scale correctly and give you a good picture.
