Pros: Amazing resolution and picture quality. Great for watching anything in HD quality and even DVD movies look great. I connected my XBOX 360 to the TV via HDMI cable. GoW2 and Halo 3 looks astounding in HD. It's a Sony so you know its great quality.
Cons: Bass is a tad weak but with my home theater system I can't even notice it.
Other Thoughts: Definately a great buy. The TV sits in my bedroom and could never be more happier. Sony always makes great products.

Pros: Picture resolution, size, weight quality, it a Sony! Sound is lacking in bass but good!

Other Thoughts: I thought 720p might not be enough for this size tv! But I was wrong it is great for this size! A 40 inch lcd would need 1080p resolution I guess? It is the perfect size for watching "letterboxed" dvd movies! I watched a blu-ray disc Planet Earth and was blown away! You will love the "extra" screen this tv will give you over a 32 inch lcd. Spend a little more to get this beauty!
