2 out of 5 eggsSave your Box

Pros: Good TV nice internet features, good image and sound

Cons: Failed after 5 hours of viewing No Picture

Newegg would have replaced it , but I didn't save the box. Limited storage space and Hey! Its a Sony.

Not impressed with the quality after this experience. Now Sony will send me a refurb as my brand new TV becomes a refurb. Not happy about that at all.

I should have saved the box!

5 out of 5 eggsSupports 1080p!

Pros: - Supports 480i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p (newegg states max res. as 720p, but it is 1080p)
- Wireless N USB adapter included retails for $80
- Fast OS very similar to the PlayStation 3's OS
- Looks great with PC, PS3, and Blurays
- Side access inputs
- Nice remote
- Hot black finish all around
- Tons of internet streaming movie sites and TV apps (Hulu, Netflix, Youtube,)
- Simple Media Server Connection for Win Vista/7

Cons: It was a fuzz more that I would of liked to pay, but trust me its worth it. My friends 32" TV's look awful compared to mine.

Other Thoughts: Excellent TV, and the 1080p output was an extra as newegg states it only has 720p however I don't have a different TV this is 1080p.

3 out of 5 eggsGood TV with poor wireless connectivity

Pros: Excellent picture quality, lot of internet video options, energy saving options

Cons: sluggish remote response, terrible you tube video performance when connected wirelessly with frequent "content error".

Other Thoughts: I baought this TV for wireless internet feature but disappointed with annoying "content error" message during you tube videos. The videos seem to get stuck (can see blue progress bar) and here comes the content error (seems like they programmed it too sensitive to any buffering may be, not sure.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the Buck

Pros: - Price v. Performance
- Easy set-up
- Excellent picture
- Very good sound
- Internet apps easy to navigate
- Wireless works perfect out of the box

Cons: - Remote is confusing at first

Other Thoughts: Bedroom TV. Spent weeks researching and comparing. Finally settled on this TV because of the brand name + extras + sale price. Completely satisfied. First rate picture, deep blacks, excellent color, minimal motion blur. No issues with the wireless performance whatsoever. Paired this with a Sony upconverting DVD player and Direct TV high-def and I'm a happy camper.
There are higher spec'd TV's out there but this is a great set for the price. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: This is my first HD TV and I couldn't be more happy. It actually does 1080p! Wireless dongle can connect to 5Ghz N. Netflix/YouTube, I use these all the time. PS3 and 360 look awesome on this TV.

Cons: Sometimes remote input lags at start up, it can take a couple of minutes for it to work properly. I don't know if this is because of the wireless dongle or not. Only has 100MB/s ethernet. Speakers aren't that great, but then again not many HD TVs have good speakers.

Other Thoughts: Now that Sony makes TVs with Google TV built in, those might be a better option if you are looking for an internet TV.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: Great picture quality. Great bright colored images. Very crisp looking when playing PS3. Internet connectivity works well.

Cons: Dim lighting picture is somewhat lacking. Speakers aren't of the best quality either. These two cons however, don't take that much away from my overall satisfaction with this TV.

Other Thoughts: Connectivity with PS3 through Bravia Sync works really nicely. It's nothing revolutionary, but the ability to turn on one device with the other, and vice versa is quite nice.

The Bravia's remote also works well with the PS3 when listening to music, and watching a movie. It provides a more practical feel than holding a video game controller when you don't want to play games.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat TV......Initially.....

Pros: The TV was easy to set-up and the latest and greatest update was easy to install.
Additionally, Newegg's shipping was quick, the unit was carefully packed, and in perfect condition.

Cons: After about 3 weeks, there was a strage delay in the TV powering up and then it would not power on at all. After speaking with two differnt reps at Sony, it was determined that there was an in issue with the internal power regulator and the TV would have to be taken to a local Sony authorized dealer. I felt this was unacceptable considering how new the TV was and SONY came through and is shipping me a new TV! (Of course SONY is going to pay for the shipping of the new TV and the return shipping of the defective TV!

Other Thoughts: I've very pleased with the PROFESSIONAL customer service that I received from SONY and look forward to purchasing additional SONY products again from Newebb in the future.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great for the price wifi dungle included settings out of the box look good.

Cons: Clock would not stay when put on stand by mode had to update firmware to fix this and the bravia engine 3 does not do a good job on standard def stuff. Little ghosting accurs on fast action scenes contacted sony they say the reponse time on this model is 6ms. Still a good buy for a small room HD looks great.

Other Thoughts: On a 32" 720p and 1080p look the same to me can not tell the difference.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Choice

Pros: The built in network connectivity is an amazing plus for a guy like me. I don't watch much TV and don't subscribe to cable or satellite service. I DO have a pretty quick internet connection, and now I can connect to my Netflix account directly with the TV, via wireless. I can stream music and purchase movies/shows to view from various sites. Now that LED-LCDs are the popular item, traditionally backlit LCD-TVs (especially 720p) are becoming more affordable, and that makes this purchase even more worthwhile. Unless you absolutely must have the latest and newest thing, this TV is a GREAT deal, and offers a great picture, while allowing you to customize to a reasonable degree.

Love the XBox 360 using HDMI, looks beautiful on this thing. There are plenty of inputs on the back for more devices than most people own.

Also cool: if you have them in the correct formats, you can put movies on a USB stick, plug the USB stick into the TV, and watch them from there.

Cons: The TV speakers themselves are quite terrible. The default sound setting is "dynamic", which I recommend be changed for general use. Pumping up the bass and treble on poor speakers like this leaves all the sound VERY unbalanced. Even on a more balanced setting, the dialogue is difficult to listen to on several media. The audio on TV signals seems fine; I can understand the dialogue. Often in movies it doesn't work out too well.

Also, the menus are a bit difficult to navigate. It's not a terrible flaw, but I would better like if I could arrive to all display and audio settings using the same menu, and it would be even BETTER if that menu could be accessed by a single touch of a button on the remote. Unfortunately, it's usually more of a pain to change settings than its worth, so I guess I'm not taking full advantage of this thing.

Also, the TV crashed/froze on me once. I've never had a TV do that, but I've never owned a digital LCD TV.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase, and think it was the best choice I could have made in its price range. I could have bought a 1080p of decent quality for this price, but the networking features are of more value to me. The picture is beautiful, and the colors are well balanced as far as I can tell. If you're okay with buying a 720p TV, have a fast internet connection and want to take advantage of current and future options in streaming media over the web, this is likely the best choice in its price range. Sound is more than adequate but could be better. Get a good set of speakers to use with the S/PDIF.

Interesting to note: it runs on an operating system that has elements of GNU/Linux and FreeBSD in it.

If I figure out how to serve content from my PC to the TV, I would be happier. If I could expand the formats read by the TV, I would be even happier. Perhaps one day a firmware modification will be possible. Then I can use whatever media formats from whatever source I wa
