The video processing system in Toshiba's REGZA HDTV produces an amazing 4096 levels of gradation for a smooth, natural picture without banding. The DynaLight Back-Light Control dynamically adjusts the backlighting through 256 different levels, producing a contrast ratio up to 5 times that of the original panel contrast. These combine to give you a hyper-realistic picture.

The CineSpeed technology takes advantage of the panel's fast response time to deliver cleaner, high-action home theater images. A wide viewing angle ensures that you'll have the best seat in the house. Game Mode reduces the delay that normally occurs between signal input and actual video display, improving performance in video games that require split-second timing.

The SoundStrip speaker system utilizes thin-line speakers with an expanded dynamic range that gives you theater-like sound while eliminating cumbersome speakers. The StableSound feature keeps sound levels constant when changing channels and also keeps commercials quieter. The SRS WOW sound field enhancement system creates a 3D sound experience from the speakers, making it sound like you’re in a multi-speaker environment.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME TV

Pros: This TV displays in 1080p, the colors are brilliant, more brilliant in fact than my Samsung 46inch in my living room.... makes me wish I had purchased Toshibas 46 inch for my living room... Newegg... fast efficient shipping, undamaged product on delivery

Cons: absolutely none

Other Thoughts: was really a little nervous about ordering something this big and expensive via internet, but have been very pleased with the manner in which it was delivered, and the condition. Awesome deal, thanks Newegg... this product purchase went flawlessly

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: Great picture, great contrast, speakers were better than I expected. Many inputs (1 coax, 3 HDMI, 2 composite, 2 component, etc). Great with the 1080i and 720p broadcasts now, and doesn't make upconverting 480i dvds look bad either. The size is perfect from 9-10' away. Looked at all sorts of reviews for a month before I bought it, and I don't regret it one bit.

Cons: The six theatre modes don't have one that scales down, so some full screen format sources gets a bit cut off the top and bottom and there's no way that I've found to fix it (happens with some PS2 games and some DVDs using a progressive scan DVD player connected through component). The buttons on the set are hard to access if you have it sitting snug in an entertainment center, and the easy access connection on the side is for composite). Sometimes hard to tell if it's turning on because the little green light can take a few seconds to light up after you hit the "on" switch.

Other Thoughts: This is one of the best TVs around its size, not counting the Sony sets, but this is at about 60%-70% of the cost. While the 3 HDMI connections are excellent and very desirable, I wish it had more component inputs too. Wii and upconverting dvd player takes up my two component connections (neither have HDMI connections), so it's a hassle when I want to hook up the PSP through component. The remote doesn't work 100% with my cable box (Scientific Atlanta), so I have to use both remotes.

5 out of 5 eggsNice television

Pros: The picture is good and so far seems to be a stable HDTV. Nice remote. Simple setup. Decent speakers.

Cons: Game mode makes game lag worse. Yes, go figure. On Guitar Hero III (Wii) turning on game mode makes my lag go from 23ms to 85ms (using in game utility). I keep it off now and dont have any problems.

Other Thoughts: This screen runs at 100hz which gave me a headache-like feeling for the first week of ownership. I've gotten used to it, but it comes up now and again. The screen has this pale sheen to it with SD inputs, like when you have a cheap LCD at a low resolution. This doesnt seem to be a problem at 480p or higher.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet!

Pros: Bought this just in time for March Madness. This is my first HDTV, as Comcast just recently upgraded lines in the area to handle the bandwidth. Nice to watch the college games in HD, the picture is amazing. Doesn't matter that it is not 1080p, as you couldn't tell on a screen this size.

Cons: The manual that comes with it is like a book!

Other Thoughts: Got this after reading the reviews and going down to Cru*ch*ield's and seeing the what the real picture looked like. They wanted $300 more than the egg though. I bought the extended warranty, which I usually do not do, but it was pretty cheap insurance I think. Newegg shipped on Monday, and I had this Wednesday morning. The egg is awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HDTV

Pros: Great picture with HDTV programs and upconvert DVD player.

Cons: It produces a lighter shade of black when it turns from brighter scene to darker scene.
The UPS should handle large item more careful cuz there was a minor damage outside the package and damping when it delivered.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: After using this product for gaming on my PC, Video gaming (Xbox360, etc.) and viewing some Movies I must agree with a good portion of the previous viewers this LCD panel is simply an outstanding Value, you not only get a feature rich product, but also a very solid brand and decent support.

Cons: I found when this is connected to a PC through HDMI it does confuse the panel a bit thus causing a bit of drowned out coloring and blur.

The blur can be corrected when you set it to game mode, and it takes a bit of fine tuning the settings to get rid of most of the color issues, but game mode will turn itself off when you turn the panel off.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking at equivalent competitors products you may want to slow down and read what some of the people say about their product support or lack there of.

This is simply the best value overall for a 37 inch LCD TV.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy This ITEM!

Pros: Price, Quality, Connections (HDMI,etc)... So far this TV has been great. From the stylish exterior to the outstanding picture quality. I purchased this LCD knowing it was 720p not 1080p did so b/c after looking @ the two in store the 720 actually looks better to me. I have a Xbox 360, Phillips Upconvert DVD Player, and Blue Ray all hooked up to HDMI and the picture is truely amazing.

Cons: HD picture quality is 10/10 saying that I would give SD a 10/10 as well b/c after watching diff. inputs such as DVD, Dishnetwork most standard def. channels look pretty good, some you can tell the broadcaster lowered the bitrates a bit to the point where there is ghosting but turn the channel and the ghosting is gone...ergo its the input. As you can see this isn't really a "Cons" section.

Other Thoughts: If you are shopping around and can't decide buy this tv Circuit City had this TV open box for $1100 in my area which is what swayed my thoughts about ordering Newegg. As usual Newegg shipping was great got here in 3 days arrived untouched. So far I havent noticed any dead pixels, will update with any changes.

5 out of 5 eggsbetter than most

Pros: I have rented tv's before I bought this one and this is better than a sony's 32in M series. in fact it blow it out of the water. better sound and picture although because you can tell the picture changes and it annoying. but it's very good quality all around.

Cons: I turned off the dynalight feature because it changes the picture dark than bright kind of like a flicker affect but after it off it's just fine. but it doesn't happen with every program or channel.

Other Thoughts: very good tv for the price don't hesitate on buying this one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Picture is crisp out of the box, black levels are great and colors are bright and vibrant. I like to nit pick displays for quality and this has not let me down yet. My buddy has a plasma by this brand and IMO this blows it away. Got this at CC for just under a G after tax. Speakers sound surprisingly good as well.

Cons: I spend too much time watching tv now. Everything in HD looks so good, even watching stuff I hate. So watch out.

Other Thoughts: The PC input is alil funny, you have to turn the desktop res down or the TV will read "unsupported input sig" However I have winamp set to play video in higher res and it works & looks great so far.
