5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tv

Pros: DLP, 1080p, Optical Audio, 3 HDMIs, and so much more.

Cons: Like someone stated before the make up of the screen can look grainy at times of lots of white or black but thats about the only time I notice it.

Other Thoughts: I think it looks grainy only becasue I have this tv in my bedroom so im only like 4 Ft away from it haha. For best quality I would suggest at least 5-10 feet between you and the tv and that will eliminate the grainy look.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Price, it can be had elsewhere for about a grand. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. Standard DVD's lok ok at 480i, an upconversion or HD/Blu Ray is needed and you will be reminded when you purchase this TV. I am a new fan of this DLP, Plasma and LCD cannot get close to the brightness of this TV. The remote control functions are ingeniusly designed. 3 HDMI outputs are more than enough. TV is superlight weight and pretty thin. Everything looks sexy about this TV. I have my modded Xbox running on XBMC at 1080i and it looks unreal. The DLP bulb for this unit is literally a 2 minute install if i should ever need to replace it. Bulb takes about 15 seconds to warm up after you turn on the Tv. Optical audio out is a nice feature. Said and done, YOU MUST PURCHASE THIS TV!

Cons: No coax audio out (doesnt matter too much, Optical is better anyway). Sound of the TV speakers leave much to be desired, but what TV doesnt?

Other Thoughts: If you want women, this purchase this TV. It captures all the attention of whatever room it is on. For the full theater expericance have a stereo system and a HD DVD player like the Toshiba HD-A2 to complete your theater. This TV looks as though I paid double of what I actually paid. You WILL NOT be dissapointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tv for an Great Price

Pros: Unbelievable picture looks as good as the Sony SXRD. Have an ps3 and Xbox 360 hookup to it through HDMI, and picture is simply beautiful. Madden 2008 is made for this type of TV. Look great in 720p and just think if EA sports would have made the game in 1080p for ps3. XBOX 360 games are great in 1080p. Standard broadcast look better then I thought and regular DVD looks as good as digital TV and this is hookup through component video. For cable or dish you must have an HDMI hookup to the TV to get the best picture. Sound is weak but who cares. The company knows if you going to buy this type of TV you are most likely going to have or buy a home theater system. Great TV for the price why spend more for an Mitsubishi DLP or Samsungs DLP. Plus TV has 3 HDMI port and a digital audio out that control each HDMI port. I would recommend this TV to any one.

Cons: Only thing I can think of is more HDMI ports. I might get an HD DVD player also, but three is really enough for now

Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for the Buck

Pros: For the price you cannot find a better TV than this one. I was tossing the idea of Plasma, LCD, and DLP. This DLP running a PS3 and Xbox 360 on HDMI is simply Awesome. The TV auto configures the resolution, and there is game mode on the TV options. Blu Ray movies are ridiculously clear, and vibrant. You must configure the image to what's best for you. This TV is meant to be in the dark. I've owned it for a couple of months now, no issue with bulb, there is an option to use a low setting for the bulb with will extend its life. I have had no problems. Crystal clear at 1080p for Blu ray movies and xbox 360 (TV puts games on 360 @ 1080p , even though they are rated 1080i on box). If you want "Full HD" at a very reasonable price, then this is it. Use the xtra cash for a new game system. Very easy to use TV, and options.

Cons: My little gripe is that on movies, especially the Blu Ray you will actually see the composition of the glare screen, which gives a very little grainy feel to the picture. It's very subtle though. Is not noticeable during gaming sessions.

Other Thoughts: If you start comparing the specs of this tv with others in its class, you will see that NewEgg has the best price around.

3 out of 5 eggsBeware Toshiba service

Pros: NewEgg Delivery was great and the TV picture was beautiful for the two hours the TV worked.

Cons: The TV stopped working the second day. Toshiba support said a replacement lamp is needed. They botched the processing and the net result is two weeks later I still can't use my new TV.

Other Thoughts: Toshiba really needs to work on initial custom satisfaction.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: Excellent picture quality, 3 HDMI ports-1080P, Optical Audio out. lightweight (72lbs-57" TV). Newegg's price was great, delivery was even better (3 days).

Cons: It's DLP and I will be buying a bulb every couple years.

Other Thoughts: This is a great TV. It was simple to setup, the menus are easy to navigate. High Def quality is outstanding. Standard Def is hit or miss. This is not a limitiation of the TV, but more an issue of the quality of the signal being broadcast by Time Warner. Some SD channels looked great (TDC, TLC, ESPN, CNN, Sci-Fi, all looked very nice. VH-1, MTV, MSG, FOX looked grainy and washed out. Almost all the HD channels are amazing. The 2 exceptions are MSG and YES, both are very bright, but extremely grainy. The best of the bunch were Discovery HD and Music HD (truly breathtaking). This TV can deliver an amazing picture, don't be dissapointed if thay all don't look as good as Discovery HD. The rest of the broadcast world will catch up this year and next. Time Warner should have 100 HD channels by early 2008. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV and as always, Newegg rocks!
