Not reliable.
- Pros: Slim bezel.
- Cons: Not reliable. LCD could develop a line or multiple lines of dead pixels over period of time. Green push.
- Other Thoughts: My TV developed a horizontal line of dead pixels after 6 months of ownership. Several repair facilities couldn't fix it for 5 months because replacement part (LCD screen) wasn’t available. Many owners of this TV model have same or similar problem with LCD display.
Vertical Lines
- Pros: Great picture, slim bezel design, alot of HDMI inputs for those newer gadgets
- Cons: A lot of customers, including myself, are having issues with vertical line(s) on the edges of the screen after ownership of around 10-12 months. Brand new, you get a 1-yr warranty (not sure if it is the same for a recert).
Don't know about you, but if you are going to drop this amount of $$ for an item it better have a better life than one year. Tech support is nothing to shake a stick at either.
- Other Thoughts: Apparently those Toshiba reliability engineers are doing a great job lifing their products. It's too bad too, it's a great looking set. Toshiba used to stand for quality.
