Pros: Looks nice, I like the Dynabright system thingy.

Also hooks to the PS3 via HDMI cable.

Cons: Stopped working after about 7 months.

Other Thoughts: Worked for about a 7 months, then wouldn't turn on. Called Toshiba, apparently they thought my TV was new, so they sent someone out to repair it.

Pros: Was a good picture while it lasted

Cons: Died out of nowhere. One day just zap, thing dies. It honestly sounds to me like they engineered a faulty product. Look at the reviews everybody who bought one has this issue looks like.

Other Thoughts: I just wish mine broke in time to return it!

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Ordered this TV for a hospital waiting room... sat in storage for 3 months until we got around to installing it.

DOA!!! Picture worked for five minutes. Now we have sound but no picture!

Pros: cheap price

Cons: The whole thing is a nightmare. In order to receive this from UPS, i have to take a day off to wait for the carrier. Once i opened it, i instantly realize there was no remote, no manual, even no screw to hold it on the TV foundation. When i require a return, guess what, they wanna charge me $55 dollars for returning it from new york city to Nj. I guess i would never buy stuffs from New Egg any more.

Pros: Great price , slick style and easy setup.

Cons: Thing just quit working on me today . Green LED light turn's on but no picture and no sound . Seems like a lot of people are having this issue so I guess I should have read some of these reviews before I got it .

Pros: Still a fine display.

Cons: Even though skin tones look great, I was unable to calibrate the green drive down far enough to prevent clipping at the high end. I did not try to find any extra service menus. I also don't have any serious equipment, just using static calibration images from the computer, which is also unproven.

Other Thoughts: Just an update to my previous review. The second TV has been running strong for 4 weeks now strictly as a display for a MythTV system. Audio is handled externally. However, I didn't realize I was ultimately responsible for shipping the bad TV coast to coast so I'm in for more than a new TV now. I guess I was supposed to work with the refurb house directly.

Cons: Died. After 2 weeks the TV would no longer turn on and display any picture. I've tried everything to make it work, but when I press the power button, only the small green power LED comes on, no picture or sound, and after 10 seconds that LED quits out.

Other Thoughts: Beware refurbished I guess. lame.

Pros: All I used was the HDMI input for a computer display. Once calibrated and all the fancy stuff disabled, it looked fine.

Cons: It worked for 8 days. Now the LED comes on, the screen stays dark, and the LED goes out after a few seconds.

Other Thoughts: Dropped it off at the UPS store this morning for RMA return.

Pros: This tv is lightweight, easy to install (wall mount), and has great picture quality. My ps3 looked like a new machine on it when I connected it through HDMI. Overall, I was impressed with the tv until. . .

Cons: . . . about a week, week and a half, after setting up and mounting it, it started to glitch. I had to reset the channels on the TV several times because the channel up/down buttons would stop working. The reset would fix it for a few days. Then, out of the blue, the TV quit powering on. It's dead. The power LED turns on, as if the whole thing was about to turn on, but nothing happens. Black screen. No sound. Nothing. I've tried power cycling it, unplugging it, reconnecting all the cabling, nothing works. It's dead. After 2 weeks. Seriously.

Other issues, the remote has to pointed EXACTLY at the IR-receiver on the TV or it won't read and the speakers are bit weak -- but that's nothing a decent home theatre won't remedy.

Other Thoughts: The TV was impressive. A good size, clear image, and great price point. Until it died. I figured, perhaps incorrectly, that a refurb'd machine would have its quirks ironed out. I'll be starting the RMA process since I couldn't find anything online to help me fix the issues. I hope the next one doesn't pull the same stunt.
If the replacement works, this is easily a 5/5 egg device for my uses. As it stands it's 2/5 but perhaps I should drop it to 1/5 since it's dead on my wall. . .

Pros: perfect price for a perfect picture!
