5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality HDTV at a good price.

Pros: Does exactly what it says it's going to do. HUGE screen. Clear image. Lots of HDMI ports. Good bargain for the price.

Cons: No serious issues with this TV. Probably better models than this out there right now, but it was solid for the time.

1 out of 5 eggsSo So HDTV, a bit of false advertising

Pros: HUGE screen (but you knew that), picture is very clear with computers and gaming consoles, but a bit noisy with DVDs and blu rays though it may just be the camera it was shot on.
Simple setup,
Has Full CDC HDMI support

Cons: Flat out false advertising on Toshiba's part. They claim this TV supports 120 Hz, this is a flat out lie. The TV only supports 120 Hz while on 480i/p resolution. The TV's cinema mode is also is huge selling point, this also does not work under normal HD resolutions and requires SD resolution to becomes active. This is some seriously shady business practices from toshiba, and if not for them cheating their customers this would be a 4 egg HDTV

Other Thoughts: Do I enjoy my TV? Absolutely, would i recommend this TV if not for the "features" missing? Yes, but I cannot recommend a product from a company that uses false advertising, Toshiba should be sued, I will never be purchasing any products from them from now on and will be sure everybody I know does the same. I do not like being lied to by a company that makes my life saving in 5 minutes so they can cut corners and mark a few extra bucks. Toshiba should be ashamed and fined.

**EDIT 1/22/16. The TV didnt even last a full 2 years before the panel died on me. The trash quality combined with the overt lying on toshiba's part and their insistence I pay 300+ dollars to ship them the TV for repairs that were not covered by my warranty will ensure Toshiba will reside in my "Never buy from again" list. They are the ASUS of the TV world.

1 out of 5 eggs50L1350U

Pros: Beautiful picture one worked the steps had the best picture amongst LED TV of their day.

Cons: Overheating backlights dude over driving the LEDs they only lasted 3 to 6 months Black Friday TV cheaply produced worst television I ever saw In a toshiba.

Other Thoughts: Any TV sold on Black Friday is what they call budget TVs and are not worth purchasing they only last a couple months they are only door busters to get you in the door that's it never buy any electronics products on Black Friday it is the worst mistake you ever make save your money only have a 90 day warranty not worth $10 on any black Friday electronics

1 out of 5 eggsBelieve The Frist Review

Pros: The only positive thing I can say about this TV is that while it worked it had beautiful picture and sound everthing after that is a negative.

Cons: I purchased the TV in late November and almost 4 months later the panel failed SO I strongly advise not to roll the dice with this TV. But the story gets so much better! Toshiba put me on a merry go round of "the part is back ordered" for 4 grueling months. I had to get a lawyer involved, rented a tv and maybe because I threatened to sue them in small claims court they decided that they should provide me a replacement so if you want to take a chance on immense frustration go ahead and purchase this TV.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't do it

Pros: Cheap.
The LED panel is most likely LG or Samsung since they outsource their panel production.

Cons: Cheaply made as well. I used to work as a warranty tech for toshiba (among others). Toshiba, by far, has the cheapest made tv's on the market. There is a startling lack of insulation around the main board and the power board and there is almost never any ferrite filters on any of the wires. Most of the time the boards just sit bare on the panel and will short out within a few months. So with that being said, you have been warned.

Other Thoughts: I would only get a Toshiba TV if it was given to me, then I would sell it and get either an LG, Samsung, or Sony. Seriously just save yourself some future headaches and go with a product that was assembled by people who know how TVs actually work.

1 out of 5 eggsFalse Advertising: NOT 50"

Pros: Bright

Cons: This is a 49.5" TV. NOT a 50". The industry got away with this garbage for years on CRT TVs and monitors. We should not let them get away with it now!
