5 out of 5 eggsI love this little TV.

Pros: I shopped long and hard to find this deal. I put it on the wall in my office. I connected my broadband to it and stream TV. It works great. Lots of features in the menue too like controlling the "power light".

Cons: None that I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: It looked brand new. It had Wi-Fi in it which I was not expecting. It came with everything it showed in the pictures. It has been a great TV for me I would order another one if I needed it.

1 out of 5 eggsNo picture!

Pros: Nice features for a price if it were still working

Cons: Not working. After a week of purchase with less than 10 hours of use, the picture just disappeared while we were watching 3D Life of Pi. I mean it just disappeared. You could still hear the sound. After that, I tried turning off and on to no avail (I could see the screen blink (with no Vizio logo) and then off again. I decided to return but since I already tossed the box it came with, I never got time to find a box to ship it back. However, after a few days, it magically worked again and been working for a few weeks until this week. The symptom is the same which is no picture at all. This time I feel it will not resurrect anymore. This is in our guest bedroom and it was barely used...

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome TV and great monitor!

Pros: 1080p, 3D, Nice bright picture, tons of connections on the back, really not much to be said thats not great about this TV. It may have been a refurb but it seems to work just about perfectly. I cant speak for the sound as I use this as a PC monitor and I use my PC sorround sound speakers.

Cons: The only cons I can think of is that Netflix doesnt seem to fit on the screen exactly right...its almost like the resolution is to big and you have to use the side arrows to go from one side of the screen to the other while netflix menu is up. The movies play fine though. You can also search netflix by option its 55in brother doesnt give O_o Thats really about all I can say negative about the TV. I cant speak for the sound as I use this as a PC monitor and I use my PC sorround sound speakers.

Other Thoughts: I cant speak for the sound as I use this as a PC monitor and I use my PC sorround sound speakers.

2 out of 5 eggsMeh..

Pros: It shipped the same day I ordered it, came looking brand new, Setup is pretty easy. picture quality is somewhat better then I expected

Cons: remote has a few issues must be hard pressed but not that big a deal. This model will not let me watch movies via USB. does NOT have 2D to 3D technology, Can't be returned.

Other Thoughts: If I could return this or sell it back I definately would without hesitation.

4 out of 5 eggsSeems Brand New

Pros: Great Price
Good Picture Quality,
All the right ports for my needs,
Shipped & Received quickly.

Cons: I am not thrilled with the smart tv features on this TV. I have a Sony SMP-N200 media player that I prefer to use for streaming from the web- I just prefer the menus on the sony, and DLNA file navigation is cumbersome on the tv.

It is nice to have the smartTV capabilities and they will work in a pinch, but if you have this capability as part of a blueray player, media streaming device, etc. , you might enjoy using that instead for your streaming needs.

The Remote isn't great, and doesn't have a full keyboard like the one that comes with the 42"version of this tv.

Other Thoughts: I had NEVER viewed a movie in 3d until I got this device from Newegg. After watching Avatar & Prometheus in 3d, I gotta say I am impressed. The added depth 3d brings gives a feeling of realism (I think) and I didn't have eye-strain problems or headaches from either of these titles on this tv.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of....

Pros: it turned on once

Cons: it turned on once

Other Thoughts: i'm so upset, it worked once and now nothing. i've never had this nice of a tv before, and i turn it on once and now nothing. i waited patiently all week for it. i never spend this kind of money on myself. and this is what i get. should have known better than to cheap out and buy refurbished. i don't understand. i thought refurbished meant tested and working properly? i know they slip through the cracks sometimes, but it took me like 10 minutes to get it to turn on the one time it did. this one had scratches on it too. i worked hard all day anxious to get home and play a new video game, and nothing. siggghhhhhhh. buying the Sceptre version instead and hoping to return this piece of junk. i wanted to go Vizio because it was a name brand. what a mistake. i don't have much faith in the Sceptre one, but that's all i can afford.

5 out of 5 eggsVIZIO FTW

Pros: Price
Great picture
Amazing 3D
The black levels are nice for CCFL. It's on par with the LED Razor VIZIO this TV replaced.
User manual is built into a TV app. This is a pretty cool paper saving feature I think. I suppose it could be bad if your TV wasn't working and you wanted to consult the manual to troubleshoot.

Cons: When moving the TV, something rattles around in the back??? Doesn't seem to effect the performance at all though.
Whithin a few minutes of turning it on, there is a strong smell of hot electronics that concerns me. There is some heat coming from the back, but it feels like less than most other TVs I've had.
The actual TV part arrived with no visual defects. The base for it did come with a few scuffs and a small chip on it. Does not effect functionality. Probably not even worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts: The remote and the inputs in back of the TV are not the same as pictured or listed in the specs. As others have said, the component and composite inputs are combined, at least on the TV I got. Also, the remote I got doesn't have any keyboard on the back.

I wish the remote had a 3D button and a sleep button. It's a minor inconvenience.

It does take maybe 7 seconds to turn on, not a big deal though. I mainly use this as a computer monitor. The computer takes a good 40 seconds to boot up anyhow. As a computer monitor, the picture is great, but text is a bit blurry and hard to read. I had already read about this and was expecting it. Afterall, this is a TV, not a computer monitor. In windows you can enlarge the text and sharpen it up a bit.
PC Gaming and 3D movies look amazing on this. I'm still surprised. I read other reviews and everyone says it's great, but you have to see it to believe it.

The only other thing I use this for is satellite TV. No problems there. The picture is nice and clear. I believe the signal only comes in at 720p or 1080i, but the picture is just as good or better than my old 720p LED. Don't think I have any 3D channels.

I don't use the TV speakers, and I haven't used the TV apps yet, so I can't tell you about them.

All-in-all, this TV is a great value. I've only had it a few days, so I'll review it's longevity sometime down the road.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent value refurb visio

Pros: Excellent quality, excellent choice of streaming apps, easy setup, great firmware updates, solid television and performance.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Once again I have my 2nd of these. Again the set came new, no signs of any type of previous use. For those wondering, the new boards in these sets are the ones with the combined component/composite inputs, no longer are they separate. Again I save on sales tax by buying here, they put these on sale for 299 so I grabbed a 2nd for another bedroom. Once again newegg shipped out the same day I purchased and I had it 3 days later! Thanks newegg you have come through again. I have two of the 32's one 42 and one 47 all from the e3d series. Never a problem on any of them. Buy a 3 year squaretrade warranty, use a 30% off coupon they send out 2 or 3 times a month and it will be fixed in-home or you get your purchase price back for the set, how can you go wrong? Don't fret over refurb tag. So far every set I've received appears to have been unused, period.

5 out of 5 eggsNice TV

Pros: It came in very good condition. If I didn't know it was refurbished, I would have thought it was new.

The image quality is surprisingly nice for the price I got it at. You hear stories about how 3DTV's make really good 2DTV's because they have to be manufactured to higher standards, and I think that is what is at work here. There is no apparent drop in image quality when the TV enters 3D mode, and has a wide viewing angle. This TV uses theater style 3D, meaning glasses are dirt cheap and there is no flickering effect (unlike shutter style 3D TV's). Be warned though, if the TV is in 3D mode and you aren't wearing the glasses, it looks like visual gibberish. Which is why it is good that you can turn on and off the 3D at any time (even if the video it is receiving is in 3D). Personally, if 3D is available for what I'm watching, I'll put it in that mode.

The TV is a good size for a bedroom and does not weigh too much. This makes it good for wall-mounting.

Cons: The biggest oversight on this TV is that there is no DVI port. It has a couple HDMI 1.4a ports, which are capable of 720P-3D at 60 FPS and 1080P-3D at 24 FPS. However, HDMI 1.4a can not handle 1080P-3D at 60FPS; whilst DVI can.

So this means if you want 1080P, 60 FPS, and 3D all at the same time, you cannot have them. You can only choose 2.

I did not deduct a star from the score, though, because 720P-3D at 60 FPS is still really, really nice looking for videogames; and most movies are shot at 24 FPS anyway. So you should use 720P-3D for games, and 1080P-3D for movies.

Also, using the menu could be a little more intuitive.

Other Thoughts: Don't get tricked into buying uber-expensive HDMI cables to use with the TV. There are plenty of ones for under 10$ in the world.

Also, there's not as many games that support 3D as I would like there to be. I'm pretty sure, though, as time goes on it will become more and more of a standard feature like selecting the resolution to play at.
