4 out of 5 eggsLasted 8 Months

Pros: Great Resolution regular cable fills most of screen without having to stretch it. HD is excellent for movies. Has Vizio apps. WIFI dual 2.4 and 5ghz. Looks good for an older model.

Cons: 3d glasses are a pain they die too quick and you need to be perfectly angled to see clearly. Only lasted 8 months before Black screen of death. Repair costs more than replacement.

Other Thoughts: Buy form where you can get an extended warranty on refurbished items with free shipping. I bought it thinking I could use Square Trade but found they do not cover refurbished items. Now I have to buy another TV.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome TV!! Just Get One!

Pros: Bright Scene once adjusted with preset settings or custom picture settings.. Excellent picture with Xbox on HDMI with Game mode On. Lots of great features internet app features. Works very well. Changes my opinions on VIZIO in a positive way.

Cons: Had to return my first TV to NewEgg due to a black screen issue on day of delivery.

I wish the refurbished TVs had less scuff marks on them.

Other Thoughts: Excellent customer service and delivery on RMA!

1 out of 5 eggsAwesome TV - If it works...

Pros: The picture is so well lit - black is black, white is white. With tons of features, settings, and ways to improve the experience just for the user. Many input methods and much faster than my older 42 inch Vizio in the living room that we watch TV & Movies on.

I got this TV to replace my old PC HDTV. The goal was to HDMI up my PC and get the cool 3D glasses. Seemed awesome....

Cons: Well - From the first day I started using it. After about 1.5 hours, it would just go dark. Not turn off... but go ultra dark. Once it happens... it keeps happening after 5 minutes and then eventually after 10 seconds. The only way to get the TV working is to cycle the power.

At first I thought it was my DVI to VGA (RBG input). So I ordered a DVI to HDMI cable as I planned. Then the same thing happened, only now it happens after 30 minutes and then it becomes useless.

So I decided to test the TV. I turned it off all night and disconnected every single input, reset it to factory settings in the menu option, and then turned it on in the morning with nothing in any input. I let the apps reinstall (automatic) and then watched NetFlix.

And... it went black. With the same symptoms with nothing plugged in. So I restarted it and it would go black just looking at the Menu/Apps within seconds.

Frustrated I turned it off with the plan to contact Vizio first before contacting NewEgg for an RMA if Vizio cannot fix it.

Other Thoughts: As a side notes: This morning I decided to see if it gets warm or makes any noise at all. So everything in the room was off... and I turned it on. It had a notice on the screen that said - Updating to Firmware MP-XP2.7.9_RC1.

Hopefully that is a fix... I guess I'll find out in 30 minutes if my screen shuts off.

I'll Change the Overall Rating if it does fix it because its an awesome TV... when it works.

5 out of 5 eggsDiamod in the Rough

Pros: I have been savign up for a tv for over half a year, and when i saw this little puppy on sale a month ago, my heart skipped a beat. 3D tv, 480hz refresh rate, and LED. basicly it's everything you should look for in a tv, and yet it's a freakin good buy as well. Mine came with a remote that has a slide out keyboard to help with all of the 'smart' apps that are installed on it. Hd video is bright and vivid, and the contrast is really good too. This is a steal of a deal for what you get.

Cons: The tv will update on it's own once conected to the internet. It doesn't really warn you when it does it, but after three updates, i haven't been bugged by it since.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat TV

Pros: Beautiful display, been using it as a computer monitor, looks much better with the auto-dimmer off. The movie effects makes the movement of images look lifelike, takes some getting used to. The speakers are surprisingly loud, sounds like soundbar is built into this thing. Wifi and apps work decently well. This TV is less than 2 inches thick

Cons: Once since I got it the apps locked up and it needed to reboot, nothing to dock a star for though.

Other Thoughts: For a refurbished unit I was quite impressed, it obviously has been used before but there are no dead pixels or any deep scratches anywhere. There is a little ding on the top, but looks like something I would have done to it anyway. Overall extremely satisfied.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Deal

Pros: True 240 Hz refresh rate, boosted to 480 Hz with SPS technology. Extremely clear, and vivid picture for an LCD. (LED lit) Colors are almost as vibrant as the Plasma it replaced, but in no way are the colors lacking, or sub par. 3D. Found the active 3D glasses for cheap at c o m p u s a. Seriously, the TV's have superb picture quality.

Cons: Packaging was pretty bad. Remotes were just laying in the bottom of the box. TV's had a fair amount of cosmetic blemishes. Nothing too noticeable, just scuffs. I blame it on the poor packaging. One remote came broken. Contacted Vizio, and they refused to honor the 90 day warranty. They said that the serial number I gave them for each TV was not listed as being sold by newegg, so my proof of purchase meant nothing to them. Shame on you Vizio, I clearly bought your product from a legitimate retailer.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, happily sent me two new remotes!

Turn off the SMART dimming option in the menu! Picture looks like crud until you do so!
