4 out of 5 eggsGood picture quality, smart apps slightly dodgy

Pros: Picture quality is good to great. The core smart apps (youtube, netflix, plex) work perfectly.

Cons: Remote control response is sluggish, especially with smart apps. There are no controls on the TV (not even a power button), so if you lose the remote control, you are b0ned. Remote control has a keyboard on the back of the remote that doesn't work as text input for all smart apps.

Other Thoughts: The picture quality is quite good, and since that's the primary reason people purchase TVs, I would recommend purchasing this.

3 out of 5 eggsWouldn't Recommend

Pros: x3 HDMI, Energy efficient, Lightweight, decent image quality

Cons: Sound issues, too many picture adjustments, power on/off response

Other Thoughts: For three bills it's pretty good but, If I could do it again, I'd get a Samsung.
Bear in mind here, I'm really nitpicky regarding AV. There's simply too many adjustable factors with this units picture quality. Fine tuning it to your tastes is a chore because of all the options. Usually I'd say options are a good thing, but with image quality too many options gives you many options to make mistakes and the constant tinkering becomes tedious. IMO, image presets should be close enough to perfect to make adjusting it a simple matter of a few tweaks.
I'm not impressed with the audio either; an issue I resolved with a set of Bose speakers, or so I thought. Often, when turning on tv, my nice speakers, plugged into the tv via RCA connectors, emit a static hiss with some garble in the background, making me turn the tv on and off, which makes it go away. And btw, the onboard speakers don't play nice with external speakers either, be they connected via RCA or optical (also tried a Vizio soundstand). That particular quirk was not replicable on an older Samsung this unit replaced.
Others have reported the remote as irresponsive; it's the power on/off cycle that's ridiculously slow. Remote response for other things is just fine. Including the nifty keyboard on the back of this units' remote for the smart aspects. The smart tv aspect is fair; netflix screen is not as good as using the website but it's nice when you don't want to power on your computer. {BTW, I'm using it as a pc monitor as well, used to run audio through the hdmi, but preferred sound quality from PC}
It's ok. I just can't give it a recommend.

3 out of 5 eggsnot what i expected

Pros: Great Looking, Compact and smart.

Cons: Not What I Expected From Vizio. In 1080 Mode Both Sound And Pix Excels, But in 490 mode there is snow or weak picture and the sound fades in and out a Pre Amp was used to clear up this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat tv

Pros: -Netflix app works great
-has Ethernet connection which works great
-very bright
-text is good enough but not better than my old 24" running 1920x1200
-overall I am happier to use this 32" tv than my old 24" monitor

Cons: no cons so far

Other Thoughts: -connected to pc and running at 1920X1080
-upgraded/downgraded from a 24" hp lcd that was running 1920x1200
-occasionally use the Netflix app
-very happy with the purchase so far
-got it for $299 + $6 for shipping and used some bitcoin that I had minied a few months back. just got sick of not getting anything out of the bitcoin

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for anything

Pros: - Crisp image
- Well lit with power saving dimming options
- Smart TV, connects to router
- Easy to use light up controller
- Has apps, handy if you don't have a computer or other device to play Netflix and other apps of the like.

Cons: - Sensor that received remote inputs is at a weird place, practically under the frame on the left. Can take a couple clicks to get it right.
-Smart TV, most people now a days have other devices that can do what these tv does, and quicker.

Other Thoughts: It's not a bad TV whatsoever, in fact it's probably one of the best types for the size. Decently slim and can fit almost any decor (that doesn't just call for black that is). I've had this TV for more than a year now and it also functions very well as a gaming pc display. Not as good as say an asus or an acer made for gaming but it does a decent job. If your looking for a good tv that won't take a big hit on your wallet, I'd say this is a great buy.
