Pros: AMAZING picture... for about an hour

Cons: Dead in an hour. VIZIO support is terrible, I will not buy from them again. They can't fed-ex parts so I can't get it fixed before Christmas. I tested it for an hour as soon as it arrived and then some of the packaging away so I can't return to Newegg, either. I spent $13,000 and hundreds of hours finishing a movie room for my kids for Christmas and there won't even be a working TV in it. Thanks, Vizio!

Pros: Excellent performance compared to it's price
Solid picture
Good looking when off
Nice remote

Cons: Smart features aren't fantastic
Takes some calibration to get looking it's best

Other Thoughts: I was cross shopping this against $3000 Samsung, Sony and LG 4K sets and while the Samsung and LG were better with smart features, upscalling and overall image performance, they simply weren't ~$1300+ better. If you're in the market for a 4K set at 55" or greater you'd do yourself a favor considering this line of Vizio sets. The image is amazing on 4K content.
I was talking with a local store rep when I desired to see this and the Samsung, Sony and LG sets in person and he had be back up and look at all the sets for a distance and said, can you tell the difference between them? I had to say, nope. With 4K content they all look about the same.

But you only/mainly watch 480/720/1080 content right? Same here, so the upscalling abilities matter. I'm happy with this one so far. If I had the likely superior Samsung in my house to compare I'd guess it would do better, but $1k+ better, I doubt it. 480i/p content looks the worse, but not horrible and thankfully only 5-10% of what I normally watch is in that low res. The gaming lag setting is fantastic and on my 360 the colors pop. I'd like to get a Xbox One or PlayStation 4 to try it with. Local dimming, contrast and blacks look really good too.

Bottom line, if you're considering a 4K set and aren't so rich that you don't care about price this set could very easily give you comparable performance to the top-end brands/sets for a fraction of the money.
