5 out of 5 eggsHappy all around

Pros: Arrived with no damage, paid right at $300 including shipping to Alaska, Plenty of connectors for components, bigger than I had expected.

Cons: It had a electrical burn-in smell that I am hoping goes away once the unit has had a chance to wake up and be happy in its new home.

Other Thoughts: I have this a computer monitor with my sound going through my stereo with big speakers so can not comments on the TV's sound. I hate commercials and watch netflix everyday and have enjoyed this new tv very much. This TV is worth the money and if it fails I will repost.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value!

Pros: Great value (~$260 at the time of this review)! The TV looks brand new, the box it arrived in.. like it was thrown from a moving train. Regardless of the condition of the box, the TV is working great and doesn't have a scratch/blemish on it. Great size for a small living room or a bedroom. Easily mountable. Plenty of input choices. USB option for pictures/audio; hopefully, they will create a firmware upgrade in the future to plug in movies/et cetera via USB.

Cons: It didn't mount itself on the wall. Its a sub-$300 37" TV. I went in knowing the 'issues' and I don't expect the TV to compete with the big boys at a 1/4 of the cost.

4 out of 5 eggs3rd Element LCD HDTV

Pros: Great HDTV for the price paid. Have 3 Elements in bedrooms in my home. Oldest one is almost 4 years old and have yet to have trouble with any of them. All the inputs you could want and very easy set-up and operation. Picture quality is on par with more expensive sets.

Cons: Wish it was 120hz do get a little motion blur on fast moving scenes. Only gave it 4 eggs because I have TV's that are much better that deserve 5 eggs but are WAY MORE EXPENSIVE.

3 out of 5 eggsCheck the details

Pros: First ever HDTV. Hooked it up 2 hours ago. Refurbished, but looks brand new to me. Nice picture. My present satellite receiver is non-HD, so I cannot give a complete opinion until I upgrade. Easy setup. Has USB support that I have not tried yet.

Cons: If you check the element website, this model is actually 720HD, though it is 1080p. Newegg does not mention that. So the price is a geed deal, but not that good.

Other Thoughts: No clock which means no timer for turning it on automatically . Just a sleep timer. The menu asks for the time zone but it has no clock. Go figure.
