Great picture, Xbox 360 looks great in HD. Great Sound, Extremely loud. Cons: none. Lots of hook ups, running combo VHS, DVD player, audio output is line level to my 70's stereo, acceptable sound from TV speakers, I like streaming from laptop through HDMI. Warranty exchange through Element allows you to have a credit card hold to receive replacement and mail back the defective unit. Cons: Refurbished means it should have been thoroughly tested, right? The first one would turn itself off intermittently.I should have listened to the comments and waited for a name brand to go on sale because now with return postage to Element I just lost the savings. Long waits for customer service at both NewEgg and Element, just go on speakerphone and surf the web (20-30 minutes). I messed up by sending in my rebate to NewEgg and voided replacement through them, now I have to deal with Element and they are in Missouri, $70 FedEx. Replacement is refurbished and if it fails I'm double messed up with return postage. Poor and ambiguous return instructions from Element. TV is slow startup, picky remote (must be aimed), must punch in the "-" for proper channel changing or it will default to channel 2-1 Other Thoughts: For the sale price this would be acceptable, but return postage wipes it out. I believe if you sell refurbished it should be resold with confidence. I have heard many people complain about the sound. My television is crisp , very clear and has great volume. Cons: There is one dead pixel missing but for the price, I can deal with that. Cons: Within a couple weeks of owning it, it has started intermittently flickering. We've noticed it mostly when first turning it on, or after watching for a long time.
