5 out of 5 eggsTop of the line TV

Pros: Really clear picture, 3 HDMI ports is just the right number. I use it as an alternative monitor with good results. The apps range from pretty much useless to really cool, but the store is well organized and they load quickly. The 5500 come with the best base of Samsung's 32 inch TV line.

Cons: It's a little deceptive that they say it's 120 clear motion plus, but it does not have a refresh rate of 120 hertz.

Other Thoughts: If you've got the money and the desk space this would make a nice desktop monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding !!

Pros: Picture, design, smart, sound.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I got this one from NewEgg and I got lucky. It has the TS 01 panel which means the quality of the picture on this set is unbelievable. The black is black and the white is white on this TV set. The colors are phenomenal.
Sound is surprisingly good on this little TV.
I got this one for my home office, and since I have it I am even watching football on this screen, and I use to love watching games on my big 65 inch TV set.
If you are looking for good solid TV with fantastic picture, decent sound and SMART TV features - look no more.
For the price, its hard to beat this one. I would say any price below $ 500 for this TV is money well spent.

5 out of 5 eggsNice TV

Pros: This has one of the nicest tv pictures. I have 3 other TV's in the house . 2 other Samsungs . A 3 year old 46" LCD with streaming apps . A un32EH4003F from last year. And a 26" ILO LCD.
This TV has very dark black, and vivid colors, and is very responsive when changing to apps .Can connect a keyboard and mouse , Does skype and facebook . I just don't use that. And it connects to my smart phone to play games , and mirrors my grandson's I Pod .He showed me some of that . Being that a 9 year old can do it ,it's easy setup.
I use it with a over the air antenna and was very impressed . I get 38 channels and HD is 1080i and crisp . The netflix and other apps start fast.

Cons: I did have a bit of issue at first connecting with my wireless D link router. But Samsung had the firmware update and all I had to do was a quick update and Viola' no more issue. It connects fine .

Other Thoughts: If you wait the price may come down .

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: If you get the right panel these are magical. Such an upgrade over my 2 year old sony. I rushed out to buy one as the models with the samsung panels either seem to be drying up, or are being relabeled with a new version that can't be figured out. I bought from a brick store as you can't check the version number online, but as there seems to be new labels coming out, no one really knows what will be inside.

Now back to the tv, mine has the TS 01 panel, and man is it beautiful. The contrast, truly vibrant colors, along with no ghosting whatsoever make this a fabuloust 32 inch unit. I prefered it to the 40 with it's higher pixel density, and since I only use it for my ps3 that i play 4 feet away from, its a non issue.

Cons: Sucks that you might have to gamble. I understand why they would use sharp, and chi mei panels (they simply can't make enough themselves) but when I buy a samsung tv I want it to be a guaranteed samsung panel, and sadly this is not the case.

But seriously, this seems to be a bigger issue these days, because when it comes down to it, the panel is basically all that you are paying for, and frankly I would rather have a guaranteed quality panel than any of the smart tv junk, I just want a GUARANTEED good screen.

Is that really so much to ask?

There were new boxes for this model at the store i bought it from, they were labeled UD03 i believe, while there were only 2 remaining boxes of the old TS01.

Other Thoughts: Frankly I dunno If i will buy tvs online again, I feel like i need to see the serial number to make sure i'm not getting the bait and switch.

And frankly it makes me wonder if they use the good panels for display models, and then sell the lower quality panel units to the unknowing customer.

Def something to think about.

1 out of 5 eggsWhy did mine break?

Pros: Very slim, able to fit in areas that are otherwise not suited for a tv. Sound is decent, good picture. Not much heat emitted.

Cons: TV died on me within 2 months of very little use. I have a home office that has two monitors connected to swivels and this tv behind them. Would use this to play video games in my office once a weekend. The TV has power connected as I can see the red light accepting the IR signal, but TV is not turning on. Having to do a warranty, packaging, and shipping, is not very appealing to me as the buyer should not have to pay for this for a defected product. Most likely will take the TV to a repair shop in town for faster service.

Other Thoughts: TV was good when playing PS3, but broke. I usually buy LG and this experience will ensure I do not purchase Samsung's 65 inch 4K TV.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent TV

Pros: This TV rocks. Great picture, Great features. The stand swivels, which is nice. It's a SMART TV, so if you are looking for online/internet apps like Netflix & HuluPlus this TV has them installed.

Cons: The speakers were not working properly with the default settings. So if the sound is low, Go into the setup menu and make the change to get the speakers and built in amp to work properly.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything I Want

Pros: 1) High resolution
2) High refresh rate (clearer pictures in high motion)
3) Great for gaming
4) Smart TV
5) impressive sound

Cons: Sometimes the wifi takes the better part of 30 seconds to connect, but it's only a problem on boot if you're trying to go straight into an internet app like Netflix.

Other Thoughts: I was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the interface. I used to use my xbox to stream netflix to the TV and now I just use the Smart TV app. I'll never go back.

Also the sound is remarkably crisp and clear for the size of the TV. I usually only need to have it on 10-20/100 for a show or movie and can hear everything perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome T.V.

Pros: 1.) Clear picture (Amazing With HD channels).
2.) Screen size is great.
3.) Clear Sound.
4.) Smart Features work Great.
5.) Great WiFi.
6.) Easy to use Universal Remote. (Can program it to any cable box instead of having to use the cable company's remote.)
7.) 3 HDMI ports
8.) Port for auxiliary jack. (From time to time I hook up my surround sound from my computer to the auxiliary jack when watching movies for a better movie experience.)
9.) You can use T.V. as a single screen computer monitor or dual screen with the right settings. (I use dual screen with my 25 inch computer monitor and combined it with the TV. Works Great.

Cons: 1.) Controller lag when gaming but has an easy fix. (Turn off DCM on which ever port you have your console hooked up to and you're good to go.)

This isn't really a big con, it just took some time for me to research to figure out how to fix it. Other than that I can't say that I've found any other minor/major cons with this TV other than that.

Other Thoughts: I bought this T.V. for myself as an early birthday present. I've had it for about three and a half months now and I love it. Very clear picture when watching HD channels. The screen size is perfect for where I have it set up. The sound is great, it has very clear sound. I honestly don't turn the volume pass 5 or 6 when watching T.V. The WiFi works great. (My router sits a foot away from my TV/Computer so i don't really know the range of how far it can go). I don't really use many of the smart features except for Pandora/iHeartRadio/Netflix. They all work very well, no lag connects instantly with no problems. The remote is very easy to use and lights up in the dark, which is very useful for me. Also, the remote is universal and I set it up with my Cable box so that I don't have to use the cable companys stupid remote. It has all the functions of their remote and probably even better. Also, the T.V. has 3 HDMI ports which is another plus for me because I can plug in cable as HDMI, use my T.V. as a computer screen via HDMI, and hook my my XBOX 360 via HDMI and switch to any of them with the push of one button. Gaming on this T.V. is great. The picture when gaming is so clear and the textures look awesome. When you get the T.V. there is a setting you have to turn of when gaming so that you don't have controller lag. I think it's called digital clear motion (DCM) that you have to turn off on whatever HDMI port you're using your PS3/Xbox360 on. Don't turn it off on regular Cable TV or else you get blurry TV only on the port you use for gaming. I did some research the first day and figured it out so not too bad. You can use T.V. as a single screen computer monitor or dual screen with the right settings. I use dual screen with my 25 inch computer monitor and combined it with the T.V. and it works Great! So as a buyer of a first Smart LED LCD 1080p 120hz TV this was a great buy and for the price you can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tv

Pros: Worked out of the box, easy setup and looks great. The apps expand the tv onto a new level.

Cons: Cant find a driver for computer use. But it isn't sold as a monitor so cant really complain. It works on the computer just not as sharp.

Other Thoughts: Very good tv. Using it as a second monitor when I need more desktop space or I can watch tv while on my computer. Love it
