Other Thoughts: I have tried everything on the 'net to get this fixed. It's all the same - No Signal - with trying to connect the TV to the PC via a HDMI cable. Maybe a bad HDMI port on TV - who knows?

Pros: Very sharp screen. Sound is better than my other 3 LED sets (one of which is an earlier model Samsung.). Haven't tried all the features (many) yet; but there are enough "non-cable" movies and series to make "cutting the cord" just about to become a reality. This set replaced one bought from another source which arrived defective--but no problem returning.

Cons: Glare from windows and glass doors. Stand a little difficult to assemble, but would be easier with the proper screwdriver. Mine was a little small.

Other Thoughts: This 40" was the fourth I'd purchased in a little over a month. I first ordered a 32" to fit the 33" opening in my entertainment center, where an old non-digital 32" had previously sat. I didn't realize that the aspect ratio was so different that the 32" was too small for its location. Studying various maker's specifications, I found that this 40" Samsung would fit. Although the vendor indicated only one was left, when I got to checkout it was gone. I ordered from one of their third-party vendors, and the set arrived damaged. I then checked Newegg and found the same model, comparably priced, with free shipping. Good transaction. I also found that the glare problem could be largely eliminated by tilting the screen horizonally around two degrees.
