1 out of 5 eggsDon't get. Unless you want to replace it in 3-7 months

Pros: At first, this was a great deal. The picture is outstanding (After adjustments of course) and the sound I thought was good enough for me, since I have never really used any good sound systems, it was good. It has been outstanding for the past 7 months, mild gaming, movies here and there..... Until now.

Cons: The picture just flat out stopped showing. I still get audio through the speakers (HDMI), just no image/video, nothin'. When I mean no video, you can't even see the Menus pop-up for the T.V.
I barely even used the T.V. in the 7 months I have owned it, maybe 1-10 hours a week at most.

Other Thoughts: Steer clear of this T.V. and pay a little more for a more reputable/reliable brand. From what I've heard Seiki Customer service is junk. Hopefully the RMA process goes well.... or im out $260...

1 out of 5 eggsGood Picture, Poorly Made

Pros: The picture and color are good, especially at this price point. I have no complains in this department.

Cons: You are taking a gamble with your money if you buy one of these. The majority of the reviews tout the picture quality, but don't mention that these TVs have a habit of breaking after just a couple months. (The backlight on mine jsut siddenly stopped working.) Yes, they have a one-year replacement warranty, but Seiki's policy is that the customer is responsible for shipping to their service center. I'm in Oregon, and Seiki is in California. Shipping one way is about $80. And seeing how this TV broke within three months, what's to say the replacement won't break in a couple months as well? Then I'll have to shell out another $80 for a replacement and wait for them to finally get it back to me. I'd rather save that money and invest it in a higher quality TV from a company that actually cares about its customers. I wish i had done that in the first place.

Other Thoughts: tl;dr: Don't be fooled by the nice picture and low price tag. There's a big chance this TV will break after a few months, leaving you to pay nearly $100 to get it replaced. Put that money toward a better TV instead.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good TV!

Pros: Full 1080p picture
Three HDMI inputs
Very reasonable price

Cons: Onboard speakers are a little lacking
No s-video input (I know it's obsolete, but the image is SO much better than composite input)
Slight issue with connection to Comcast DVR

Other Thoughts: I was a little afraid to buy one of these after seeing the recent negative reviews, but the price was way down again, so I took the plunge.
I wanted to run the TV for a least a few days before writing a review.
I would like to extend thanks to the reviewers who supplied their successful settings (especially Bebi H.), the picture was teaked perfectly within minutes of setting up the set. The overscan issue I had with my HTPC is FINALLY resolved.
That puts this TV leaps and bounds over my previous Sylvania 37" HDTV. Also, the LED backlighting puts out much less heat than the flourescent backlit Sylvania set.
Like other reviewers, I'm going to find a decent set of 2.1 PC speakers for better audio. The onboard speakers are livable, but disappointing for movies.
I had an issue with my Comcast DVR, which was resolved by plugging it into HDMI-2 (the number one port just didn't like it - apparently a known issue). I still get the "du1" or "dvi" message, but the picture displays.
This really is a decent HDTV for the price, I hope Newegg brings them back into stock (including the 22" retro model).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV for the Price

Pros: This TV was on sale for $275 so I picked it up with the 2 year warranty. 1080p with 60hz is sufficient for what I want it to do.

This is my secondary TV in the guest room and I have a Roku 3 attached to it. it's perfect for what we need it for.

Its light less than 20 pounds, I replaced my 32" 50 pound TV. I had to loosen my TV mount to allow for easier movement due to the lack of weight. Picture is crystal clear and the menu navigation is intuitive.

Cons: the Component and VGA use the same Audio and and one of the video jacks, This means I have to Unplug part of the Cables that connect my Wii to play my N64. Complete first world problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGood but not excelent

Pros: Cheap, okay picture

Cons: As others stated have to point at lower left to get remote to work, needs adjusting at first

Other Thoughts: Like others said needs to be adjusted when you get it and you get used to pointing it at the lower left corner to change channels over all not going to doc eggs because it does work and I have had no real problems with it.

1 out of 5 eggsCustomer service non existant

Pros: Good picture

Cons: After 4 mos service a thin red permanent line appeared, never to go away. After a call to SEIKI cust serv I needed to find the receipt which was easily found thru Newegg. The ONE person I spoke with said I probably needed a new TV. I have been calling them, emailing them for 6 weeks. Faxed the receipt 3 weeks ago and still no personal call or email. VERY unhappy with this manufacturer. Will never buy anything from them again.

Other Thoughts: I prefer a 0 rating.

1 out of 5 eggsSEIKI response to customer complaints awful.

Pros: Good picture .

Cons: After 4 months service a thin red permanent line appeared never to go away. Was told on first call to SEIKI it was probably the panel (new TV). I found the receipt and called back MANY times never receiving an answer or callback. Emailed with little or no actual service. Had to fax receipt, which was done nearly a month ago. Still no contact with anyone from SEIKI. I need a replacement. Will NEVER buy anything manufactured by SEIKI again. Totally unhappy with this TV.

Other Thoughts: Please change to 0 rating.
