1 out of 5 eggsVery bad product

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Extremely badly configured color settings. Cannot change the colors anymore than you can. I have another monitor next to it and it it vastly superior for the same price.

Also the screen began to 'bleed' or cast 'shadows' less than a year of ownership and pretty minimal use.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst warranty "repair" I've ever seen!

Pros: Beautiful little WHITE TV with a lot of features. We were very happy with it for 3 months. It even turns off automatically when used as a monitor.

Cons: Backlight failed. Warranty repair requires customer to pay for return shipping. Another $38 I'll never see. Waited 6 weeks, and refurbished BLACK TV arrived very poorly packed. Surly customer service reps say that's their policy; replace with comparable spec TV! Really? Black TV is comparable to WHITE TV?

Other Thoughts: I have two options. Accept a black TV as a replacement for my white TV, or pay another $38 to send it back for a refund of my original purchase price. $72 for nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for us

Pros: Good display quality, easy setup, and economical.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Perfect replacement of our worn out old TV. Great price and picture. A SD box is used in the bedroom and using a L/R/V cable puts the TV in NTSC mode. No adjustments had to be made. Better picture than old set. Quick programming of Verizon remote.

I don't need HD in bedroom and I would find it hard to tell the difference between HD and SD. History and Discovery networks are usually what we watch to put us to sleep... A great price when on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsidk

Pros: Came well packed and easy to assemble. Actually that might be a con. There's only one screw holding on the base. But then it's a twist and lock so that's a plus in ingenuity. In all honesty I bought it as a monitor but I can't get an image using the HDMI (which I had to buy). I think it's a issue with my 'puter but I'm going to try other things as well.

Cons: None that I know of. Oh wait, there's a sticker where all the connections go, and it's inverted.

Other Thoughts: Good for the price if it works like I think it will.

5 out of 5 eggsBlazing Fast Delivery

Pros: I'm not sure its completely right to say it in the product review. But wow, the delivery speed is what blew me away more than anything. It arrived basically in 24 hours, and that was with the free shipping option. Way to go NewEgg and any other party involved.

There's not much for me to say about the TV itself, other than it works and it's not having any issues.

After all, its pretty much the budget TV here, the only one cheaper was the 22" version. So there's no fancy features for me to give my thoughts on.

I do have to say, I'm impressed that the cheapest TVs here are both 1080p and 60fps.

Because of that, and the fact it has a HDMI port, its worth mentioning you could use this a monitor if you had to and if fact it actually is the same size of my monitor.

Cons: I don't really have any cons to mention. Anything I could count as a con you know going in, before you buy it. Like size, this thing is small, but it's in the title of the product how big it is so I don't think that's a fair complaint at all.

Other Thoughts: For some reason it didn't click with me when I bought it that it was the same size as one of my computer monitors. It would have been better of me to save up for a bigger one. I needed a flatscreen TV fast though and that's what I got. The fast part can't be understated.

4 out of 5 eggsVersatile but quirky

Pros: Amazing price for the features.

No bad pixels.

So many inputs and outputs.

HDMI in works with my EVGA 650 ti card with sound.

Has a VGA in connector with an audio in jack to allow you to use your VGA connector and still get sound in. There is no DVI connector.

Has optical out, amazing in this price range. I could not test it.

Has a USB in port which only lists JPG photos as its readable format. I do not know if you can use a Internet streaming TV device in this slot.

Has headphone out mini plug to drive a pair of powered computer speakers (or headphones). Nowhere in the description does it say this TV has built in speakers but it does, They are on the bottom of the back electronics and they point down, bouncing the sound off the stand.
They are about as poor sounding as you might expect given their size and location.

No exterior power brick. Has a standard 120v power cord. Very low energy consumption.

Such very bright picture out of the box. I had to turn it down from 50 to about 35 to avoid blooming. Backlighting, with the LED's, seems even enough to me.

Remote control works OK and takes 2 AAA batteries, supplied. The labels on the remote are almost unreadable but the layout of the buttons seems intuitive.

Cons: No tint adjustment!. It's there in the menus but grayed out on both TV and monitor menus. This seems strange but might be fixed with a firmware update. If you're using it as a monitor this is not a big deal as most video cards have a tint adjustment. The TV picture has good facial hues so this omission of a tint control does not bother me but still, this is very unusual.

60 Hz refresh at 1080i, which is OK but when put into 1080p mode it drops even lower to 50 Hz. Still, I never see any flicker.

The stand is non adjustable, no up and down nor tilt allowed. The TV sits about 2" off the stand, There is a VESA mount on the back and the stand is easily removed. Since the TV is so light, about 8 pounds, it can be mounted almost anywhere,

Other Thoughts: Came in it's original box without any Newegg box around that. This red and black box that says 24" LED TV all over it was sitting on my front door steps when I got home. All that was missing was a "Steal Me" sticker. Still, I got it fine, and there was no damage in shipping via UPS.

Better as a TV than a monitor but it's nice to have that dual capability.

Attractive and versatile device, I wish they made this in a 25, 26, or 27" model but the next step up is 32" in this line.

Would I buy another Seiki TV/Monitor? Yes I would.
