5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Don't listen to that dude hes just a poor sport. I payed 460 bux after all the fee's and taxes. The screen is a true 1080 60hz with 120hz enhancer display. The truth is that the green is a bit stronger then the rest of the colours and can be toned down a little bit. Ive used MY video card drivers and toned the tint down a bit without sacrificing yellow. This TV is actuallly brither and more colorful then the more expensive Sony Bravia TV I have. The TV is cheap as long as it doesn't bust a nut I'm more then satisfied

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good.

Pros: Nice picture for the price.
Better than what it replaced (Samsung DLP from 2004).

Cons: No picture in picture for different inputs that I have found yet)

2 out of 5 eggsover-saturated greens, not a "real" 1080p display

Pros: - price is hard-to-beat for this size TV
- speakers are reasonable (I've heard worse speakers on a 50" flat panel)
- ugly "Changhong" label on the front can be easily removed (it's attached with glue and 2 pin points)

Cons: I purchased this TV, played around with it intensively for 48 hours, and promptly returned it to to Newegg.

2 main complaints:
- green/red balance was completely off: connected via HDMI from my PC the greens look like neon radioactive ooze. I spent 4 hrs tweaking settings on the TV, in Windows color balance, and in my video card control panel. I ran every color calibration tool out there and could not fix it. I suspect adjusting the "tint" setting on the TV would've helped, but for some reason that setting was disabled when connected via hdmi. I did not try connecting the TV to any other source (antenna, cable, bluray) since PC monitor was my only use for this TV so cannot comment if other sources have the same problem.

- not a true 1080p display: when connecting it to my PC, intel graphics tool kept reporting that the display was not using native resolution and kept prompting me to change it to 1280x720. Have never seen this before with any other 1080p monitor or TV. When running in 1080p mode, images with smooth gradients (like blue skies) looked blurry and pixelated.

Other Thoughts: All these observations were made in a side by side comparison with my 2012 Panasonic Viera 42" IPS TV connected to the exact same PC source and also a 2014 Samsung 46" model (UN46EH5300).

Other reviewers here have reported these same 2 issues.

If you have no other flat-panel TV to do a side-by-side comparison, you may not notice or mind the poor color reproduction issues as much.

If you're looking for a secondary TV, look elsewhere as you'll regret this purchase when viewed alongside your first TV.

4 out of 5 eggsFailed After 4 Months

Pros: While It Worked The Picture Was Great !!

Cons: We Had To Send Our 4 Month Old 50" LED 1080p TV In For "Warranty Service" , All Parts & Labor Covered, But I Had To FedEx It To California (No Service Depots In Fl.) & That Cost Us $180.00 For A Special ECO-BOX & The Shipping Charges !!!!

Other Thoughts: The Service People Were Very Helpful On The Phone, I Spoke With Gail, Very Kind Person

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value TV

Pros: With a little research, I chose this brand over the rest because this companies makes the TV's for the other brands. I pulled it out of the box, set it up, turned it on, did a brief adjustment on the picture... and this TV rocks! If I had spent thousands on this TV, I would be a little disappointed. But, I put my picture quality up against any Samsung, LG, or Sony. With 3 HDMI's, I can have my satellite, playstation, and DVD/blue ray player hooked up. The sound quality is good, even without my surround sound.

Cons: So far, none really. It's done everything I've asked it to do.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: Works good & good TV for the price. Look, it's not a top of the line set, but for those of us who really can't afford or justify a high priced TV, this will do the job just fine. This is now used as the TV in my master bedroom (have a Sony 55" in living room as my "Primary TV"), so it doesn't get much use any more. Was in living room for a few months & I was happy with it there (I needed help swapping the two, which took a while).

Cons: Because of some back-light bleeding around the edges (mostly noticeable in dark scenes...) I did need to adjust the back-light level & possibly a few other easy settings. The picture looked way better after a few adjustments. Whatever bleeding that may be left after a few adjustments is not an issue (for those of us who are not super-picky). You might see a little bleeding in night or real dark scenes, but I bet you won't even notice if you're not looking for it.

Other Thoughts: Best buy for the size! If you are poor or just cheap, buy one!

3 out of 5 eggsOk for a 50 inch TV

Pros: Low price for a 50' TV, great sound, multiple HDMI ports, one usb port, VGA pc input, sound jack. Added a Chromecast who runs at 1080P on it to watch online movies via netflix.

Cons: Slow start (7-10seconds from button push on remote), resolution not recognized at 1080P on any of my pc's( desktops, laptops, and a tf300T tablet). Fixed stand, does not swivel.

Other Thoughts: Good buy, be prepared to pay environmental fees for this product if buying in Canada.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Picture and Great price

Pros: Excellent picture resolution. In fact I like it better than the two Samsungs TV that I have. I don't think you can get a better TV for the price. I did have slight problem after 9 months. Factory representative, James Chow quickly had the problem fixed. He provided me with the best service that I have ever received from any appliance manufacturer..I would highly recommend this TV to any prospective buyer.

Cons: NONE

1 out of 5 eggsChangHong 50" LED TV

Pros: Nice screen tv if it last

Cons: Does not last

Other Thoughts: I bought this TV back in Dec 2013. It is broken and cannot turn on. Called customer assistance and no answer and no return call. Cannot process warranty even they offer 12 months warranty. Please do not buy from this Manufacture. Will never trust this Chinese Brand anymore.
