5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Very nice TV. Was looking for something smaller to use while exercising. Works great. Has a nice picture and way more inputs than you would expect for a small TV. ( Has more inputs than my 55" plasma ) Is also very light. Only weights a few pounds. Got it on sale for about $70 and I'm very happy with it.

Cons: Volume goes pretty loud but sound is a little tinny/ higher pitched.

Other Thoughts: Works great if you need a small , basic TV.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tv/monitor

Pros: Great reception on low cost antenna. Good little monitor.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If using the tv as a monitor, don't use the VGA connection. It makes the picture look washed out. Use the HDMI port and the picture is great!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very small footprint. Bright, sharp screen. Multiple inputs.

Cons: Stand connector doesn't completely remove which looks a little stupid wall mounted.

5 out of 5 eggsNice TV, great price!

Pros: Nice light weight TV. Works as it should. I bought it for a travel trailer, and it does the job I wanted it to do.

Cons: Bracket not removable, which is a pain since it is wall mounted.

Other Thoughts: Overall, 5 Eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for RV

Pros: Light weight.
Great picture.
12v capable which is great for vehicles/RVs.
Grandson loves watching Thomas the train on it! :)
Mounted perfectly on a 75X75 VESA mounting plate on a swing arm.

Cons: It is a small screen, but fine in a restricted area.
Sound is not great but acceptable.

Other Thoughts: Purchased for $69 as a shell shocker. Would buy again at that price, but not at regular $129 price.

When I first received the unit, it would power on, but could not seem to select input, see screen menu, etc. That lasted about two minutes, then was fine. So, hope that is the only issue that we will run have with it.

5 out of 5 eggsSigmac 15.3 LED HDTV

Pros: Low price. Great picture quality. Simple set-up. Plenty of input options.

Cons: Sound is tinny but strong.

Other Thoughts: Used in kitchen on swing arm mount. Good from every viewing angle. Cured sound problem with old PC ext. speakers. Very happy so far.

5 out of 5 eggsSurpassed Expectations!

Pros: The units I received were 1080P capable. Both were tested (after a quick calibration using Disney WOW) with blu-ray, OTA HDTV, Roku and Chromcast using an 25-foot HDMI cable. The picture quality was better than I expected for the price (Shell Shocker Deal).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The volume range and sound quality is acceptable-- do not expect 7.2 window-rattling performance (although there is a coax audio out jack as well as a 3.5mm headphone out connection).

While this unit is no substitute for a larger screen, its flexibility, good quality and price is worthy of consideration for the kitchen, dorm, study, office, etc. You could even travel with this... it's that light (the shipping box is about the size of a thick legal briefcase).

4 out of 5 eggsKitchen TV

Pros: :
- 16:9 Format
- Price $75 on Shell Shocker
- Nice OoB picture
- No more HDCP notice from my Dish DVR
- Low power: 13 watts
- Ample volume
- Nice small 12V wall wart
- Many useful buttons on the top edge so remote not needed
- Flashlight worked

Cons: :
- Tinny sound
- Wide glossy bezel
- Ugly large SIGMAC logo
- Imperfect formatting via the Zoom button

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace my 9" CCFL TV that used twice the power. I kept getting HDCP messages on some channels from my DVR if I had my prime TV on before using the old kitchen TV. It would refuse to display that channel.

I have this hooked up from the single HDMI out of my DVR via a powered splitter then a 40' HDMI cable, works. Those two added $30 to the install. Tried a passive splitter first, didn't work.

I used the top two 75mm VESA holes and a custom bracket to hang the TV to one of my logs. It weighs so little, my thin steel bracket is more than adequate.

The Zoom button on the remote formats the picture to the screen, needed when going from 4:3 to 16:9 content and back, gives imperfect results.

Not a great TV but given the price, I'm pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a surprise! Cheap & good quality.

Pros: Even though its specs states that its native resolution is 720p it does display 1080p videos just fine,
The screen size (15.3) seems bigger in reality than it is on paper and its a widescreen display (16:9) as well,
The sound (speakers) on this thing is LOUD, I have heard of persons complaining about LCD monitors and televisions with poor sound but this one is very loud for its size. I believe it goes up to 100 and I keep mine between 3 and 5. 10 is loud for me so I wouldn't even want to take this thing to 100,
The picture quality is very good but not great, it also looks like an IPS display, yes, its that good (I am surprised that I got such a good quality screen and picture for $83.00)
This is my favourite part, this little sports not one but two HDMI inputs! And to sweeten the pot, they are MHL compatible so that means that your smartphones and tablets with HDMI outputs should have no problems displaying images or videos on this unit. It also has the dying VGA input, one component input, one USB input (for power only) and a composite input for older video devices,
It has a 75x75 VESA mount on the back
and it has a dual digital and analog tuners!
This unit is super light weight, I am guessing that its less than 1.5 pounds.
You will be saving tons of dollars on your electricity bill as the Sigmac 15.3 LED HDTV uses 12volts @ 2amp to power it, about $3 per annum and it is ENERGY STAR approved.
In TV mode, you have the option to set a 4 digit code to prevent children from viewing content that are unsuitable for them

Cons: I am using this monitor/tv with an Intel NUC and using HDMI, the image on the screen doesn't quite fit right, I lose about 5mm on the left and right sides and about 2mm on the top and bottom in widescreen mode (16:9) In the standard mode (4:3) this is corrected however, I get about an inch or bars flanking the left and right sides of my screen so I just leave it in widescreen mode.
Words (text or font) could pose a challenge for some persons to read as they are fine (very small) so you may want to adjust the size of font in WINDOWS OS to suit your needs.
Wish the bezel on this unit was smaller, its too thick for my liking however I can live with it because of the picture quality and the many features that I am getting with this HDTV/monitor

Other Thoughts: Even though I learnt this lesson long ago, "never underestimate a brand because its not a brand-name product!" I have never heard of SIGMAC before until I stumbled across it while scouting out a 22" SAMSUNG HDTV/Monitor. I decide to take a chance after reading the reviews on the SIGMAC and bought it. Do I regret buying this until? Hell no! I love it and very pleased with it, I guess the only question on my mind now is: "How long will it last?" Are you thinking about buying this HDTV, please, don't waste time thinking, if you can live with the 'cons' then this is more than a deal. Its a steal! Something tells me that these will be out of stock soon. I am going to try to get another before they are all gone.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality

Pros: lightweight, bright, good tuner, lots of adjustments, easy set up and low wattage. Easy set up and packaged nicely.
Lots of input output connections.

Cons: poor picture quality, sound quality is a 2 out of 10, hard to understand, My 13 inch CRT was better,

Other Thoughts: I kept it.. for 79.00 it was worth it I guess. Barely. I hooked up so old computer speakers to the headphone jack and fixed the TV where I can actually discern what people are saying. Stay away from this great deal. You can find better in a box of Crxcker Jax.. spend more and get a name brand that you can trust.
