Other Thoughts: Using the cooker's OWN included pot, the device almost caused a fire. The pot was burned up and smoke flooded my kitchen. The device was even set on the LOW setting. Very disappointing. I'm very thankful there were no injuries or damage. Not safe!

Pros: does everything you expect from an induction cooktop, has good controls to heat levels, and induction current worked well.

Cons: It just stopped working. After testing it a few times, I gave it to my parents - they never used it, and the next time I visited, it just wouldn't turn on, despite it having sat on the counter not being used.

Pros: When it worked, it seemed fine. Heats up quickly, and efficiently.

Cons: I tested it 2-3 times (boiled some water with the supplied pan, as well as with a stainless kettle). Then didn't use it for a few weeks. Now it doesn't turn on. With pan, or without, the circuitry seems broken - the unit doesn't turn on at all. I'm baffled to how something can break so quickly, without hardly any use.

Pros: looks nice

Cons: Fan is noise. It failed after two uses

Pros: It functions as a high heat cooker. It looks good.

Cons: If I had it to do again this would not have been the product to purchase even at the good price they have here at Newegg. This product will certainly end up in a thrift store for someone else to dispose of. Hate to see the land fills fill with junk that does not work well!

Other Thoughts: On the first use i set this on medium heat and the unit went to full power and scorched the pan. I shut it off and when i tried to turn it back on "error" shows on the screen.

Pros: Boiled water faster than on my stove.
Single burner so it can fit anywhere.

Cons: I used the boil water setting on it three times, and now it won't turn on at all.

Other Thoughts: Listen to the complaints in this thread. The Cooktop is cheaply made and breaks fast. If you want to try out induction cooking, it'd be better to go with something else.

Pros: Very fast heating. Fan is audible, but not noisy. Has several preset temps that makes it easy to switch between different modes of cooking.

Cons: When I tried frying with the pot, it grow hot FAST. The heat exceeded the pot's capacity. It rapidly started to warp the bottom of the pot.

Other Thoughts: For the price, I'd buy the cooktop. However, you may want to invest in a different pot for anything other can boiling water.

Pros: options of using it as stir-fry, hot pot, etc. Love it! It does everything we want plus more. You do get the best value.
