2 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

Pros: Cheapest of its kind you can find. Great when it worked.

Cons: Handle switch broke after two months. Temperature dial broke after 4 months. Whole unit went dead after 9 months.

Other Thoughts: I'll try to find a more reliable brand.

4 out of 5 eggsA Keeper

Pros: Reasonably priced for what it does. I found the best price at newegg. Have gotten some good use out of the oven. Economical, too- uses only about 1/5 the kilowatt hours of my conventional oven, but it will cook some food just as well as the big appliance. (Don't expect quite as much browning as from a broiler element, if that's important to you) Way better than a microwave, in some ways. It's a more natural way to cook food.

Cons: The 'kill switch', which is supposed to activate when the handle is pulled up, has failed in my unit. Obviously, it has failed 'shorted', as the oven still works, regardless of handle position. Cheaply made electrical contacts, when switching high load currents, can and do weld, on occasion. Under those circumstances, if the timer has any time left on it and you're plugged in, you're running. Personally, I consider this only a minor nuisance. I'm very careful, however. This unit deserves the same respect you'd give an electric space heater, which *could* become a fire hazard if used carelessly. Used stupidly, this appliance could probably be just as dangerous, even *with* a working kill switch! Anyone with an ounce of common sense will never have such problems with this unit. The enclosure gets quite hot in normal use. Give it a little elbow room on your counter.

Other Thoughts: Newegg gets a five star rating from me. Excellent prices and service. They get a lot of repeat business from me.

5 out of 5 eggsReallly Good

Pros: Works great. Well made.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I had another one made by someone else, you know one of those infomercials. Worked great for awhile then died. This one seems better made.

5 out of 5 eggsVery tough product

Pros: Excellent little oven, I've had them for years. I use them to roast coffe beans. They get hot enough to roast them within 15 mins. This is my second one, my first never even died after 2 yrs of very heavy use, it just got less effective. Saves energy, uses 110v. One of the very few Chinese made things that I have ever recommended.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Turbo Oven

Comments: Really nice item, saves heating up the whole house, can cook almost anything that can fit inside. Excellent for cooking meats, sears the outside keeps the juice inside.
