Wedding Gift
- Pros: I bought it as wedding gift for a co-worker and they love it. It looks good and works good.

strong plastic odor
- Pros: inexpensive
- Cons: Strong plastic scent when heating, not even sure if it is harmful for heath;
Material quality looks very cheap.
Excellent Cooker
- Pros: The cooker is big. Instruction manual is clear, concise and helpful. Included a plastic tray to steam vegetables. Cooking is very simple and straightforward: Add rice with the plastic rice measure cup, Rinse it thoroughly, Add water to the marked line inside the non-stick container, close lid, plug in, and switch on. After say 10-15 min (for 7 cup rice), the warm light switches on to indicate the rice is cooked. They have provided a plastic container attachment to the base of the lid of the unit, which collects all of the excess water that is collected by the lid. This is required else there will be a mess on the counter and needs to be emptied out after each use. There is a steam exhaust port also.
- Cons: No digital display or audible sound to alert that the cooking is complete. Cord is tad small. I replaced with a longer one that I had from my "cord pile"!
- Other Thoughts: A plastic spatula/server has been provided to serve the rice and not scratch the non-stick coating to the aluminum vessel.
